I had a great experience with the Stobepro L500 LED lights. Because they are very light *pun intended* the set was nicely lit and are compact enough to fit into my kit box.
Strobepro products are great, I look forward to purchasing more.
I bought the L500 (and air-cushioned stand) for use as an interview light. I’ve only used it once, but it worked very well. Used with my Fuji X-H1, I was able to open up my aperture a couple of stops for better DOF. My interview subject was not blinded by the light at 50% power (diffuser installed) at a 45-degree angle to his face. I’m thinking about 2 of these instead of a strobe for architectural and portrait photography. It would be nice to have a battery level indicator built into the unit, but I know that would add cost.
