Lightweight & Compact
If you travel this is the tripod for you. Carbon fiber makes it super strong and light at only 4 pounds. Perfect for hiking and compact enough at 17.7" folded to fit on a backpack or airplane carry on.
Multi-angle Leg Positions
The patented flip lock makes selecting from three leg angle positions smooth and fast. Each leg can be independently locked into place to enable shooting at high or low angles.
Speedy Twist Lock Legs
Unlike most tripods you can't over rotate the leg lock. Simply rotate the grips by just 90 degrees. Fast and smooth without the legs falling apart.
Convert to Monopod
You've always wanted a monopod for tight spaces. Now you've got one. Simply detach the designated tripod leg and attach it to the centre column.
2 Year Warranty

I recently took my Versa 65C Carbon Fiber Tripod on a trip to Portugal. In it's bag it easily fit into my checked baggage, leaving me to free to take my camera bag as carry-on. It's easy to use, and in spite of the tripod's light weight--which is great--it's able to support some hefty gear. I like it a lot!
I’ve only used the carbon tripod once so far for a copy job, but worked really in conjunction with the weight bag packed with gravel and hanging was easy with the handy hook below the centre column, and added a good measure of extra stability...
I would recommend this tripod for no more than an FF /w 70-200. It is simply too light for the rigors of more heavyweight systems such as Nikon D850 + 300 2.8. Mine simply came apart. One bottom leg popped right out of the section above it and I'll be darned if I can get it to work properly. The tripod base plate worked itself loose and the retaining nut fell down inside the extension tube.
The tripod is great for everyday studio use but for serious wildlife shooting you really need to match your equipment.
Was looking for a sturdy light weight tripod that could handle the rugged demands of weather and terrain while paddling the northern Saskatchewan rivers. Stability is important and well as weight. All the specifications seem right, but the important thing is the after sales support which I experienced first hand as there was a problem with the head which was quickly resolved. At the moment I can comment on the support; after Canoe trips next summer I can update regarding performance!
