Why Use a Rectangle Softbox?
The perfect tool for creating highly controlled rim lighting for portrait and fashion shots. They emphasize shape and they create natural-looking 'window' catchlights. Also ideal as the overhead fill light in product shots.
Fitted with both an inner and an outer diffuser, both of which can be removed if required, this softbox can produce both soft lighting and a much harder, specular light. It takes only seconds to remove or replace the diffusers.

I could not find any other vendor for an umbrella open softbox this size, the only one close was Denny's manufacturer and they are not making it any more, nice even light and not deep, so tight space is not a challenge ( mindful of the hight ) , you do not have much of hot spot although shallow, I use it for fill , great buy, get one while they are still available.

Relatively easy to set up, although it is somewhat unwieldy. I usually have the soft box set up on the floor; then attach the flash; and finally move and attach the flash to the stand. Set up on the stand, it sags a little ,and the sides are not as tight as on smaller rectangular soft boxes. However, it operates well with the flash - I used the inner and outer diffusers.

This is a very big modifier! But that is why I got it. Easy to set up and take down in seconds. Looks well made.
