1 review

Serious Business

As soon as you pull the LD150R out of its box, you'll know you're onto something special. This flagship panel comes in an all-metal body, and is ready to meet any challenge with more than 450 square inches of RGB LEDs. Simply put, it's awesome.

THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE

Your Godox LD150R comes with Strobepro's best in the business support.  Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada.  Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary-based service centre.

Includes Extras!

In addition to the base accessories that come with the light, our kit includes the Godox honeycomb grid and a softbox with grid  ($179.90 Value) Between the barndoors, grid options, and softbox, your light will be ready for anything you can throw at it!

All of the colours.

Well, roughly 16 million of them.  The RGB LEDS in the LD150R can be dialed in to almost anything you want.

Multiple Control Methods

The LD150R can be controlled with a dedicated remote, the Godox Light app, or a DMX control board!

High-fidelity CCT

When used in its CCT colour mode, you can adjust your white light from 2800K to 8500K, all while maintaining a CRI of 96+ and a TLCI of 97+.  In other words, you can match your temperature to almost any scene and maintain a high degree of colour accuracy.

Top-Notch Build Quality

The LD150R is all-metal and is fan-cooled with ample ventilation to help dissipate heat.  With durability and cooling built into every part of the design, your LD150R is built to last a decade or more.

Silent Mode

Kill the fan to protect your audio.  The silent mode will limit your peak brightness but will help you remain quiet on the set.

Thoughtful Accessories

The LD150R comes in a nice padded case, and includes a barndoor set to help you control spill and flare into your camera lens.

Yoke Mount

The integrated yoke mount allows you to get your light into any position.  Mount it horizontally to maintain full mobility for your barn-doors.

Special Effects

The LD150R features a variety preset tunable cinematic lighting effects that filmmakers are sure to love.  Mimic a lightning storm, a flickering fire, and more.

Firmware Upgradable

More effects and features could come to the LD150R at a future date thanks to the ability to upgrade its firmware via USB.

Solid Studio Light For The Price!!!

We picked this up for our new in house studio. We mainly shoot corporate content (how to, podcast, interview, etc) and we needed a key light to be used in any situation required. There are very few reviews online about this light so I was a bit skeptical at first. However we knew we didn't need the output from a Nova P300 at twice (+) the price. We bundled it with the rolling heavy stand so that we can roll it from studio to other locations in our office easily. The team at Strobepro were very helpful and provided great service. Was able to setup the light before picking it up to test it real quick. One great thing about this fixture is that it comes with the soft box and grid where with competitors these are separate purchases. The soft box is a bit tricky to setup, but once you wrap your head around it , it's easy to use. The output is more than enough for our needs. We shot a talking head in studio video with the LD150 as a key and a set of of the TL60 tubes as a hairlight. We ran the LD150 at MAYBE 40% power and it was beautiful and soft. We shot a how to video in a warehouse with the LD150 as key and TL60 set as fill. We ran the LD150 at 100% with the soft box and it gave us more than enough soft light for our lead. All said for the price of $1500 you can't go wrong with this. Plugged in or using VMOUNTs this light will fill a lot of uses and purposes. Hopefully they come out with 300 and 600 versions. Thanks Strobepro!
