The big camera brands simply haven't kept pace with Godox when it comes to flashes. The V850ii has a long-lasting lithium battery that cuts recycle times in half. Despite being a manual flash, it still supports HSS when used off-camera with an X-Series wireless controller.
The Strobepro Difference
Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, in-house 2-year warranty, and Calgary based service centre.
Works on Any Brand
Single pin firing allows the X60M to work on any brand camera (though to enable HSS you’ll need a brand-specific controller).
Includes Lithium Battery
The rechargeable lithium battery lasts for over 650 full power shots. It's the equivalent power of having 12 AA batteries in your flash at the same time. The lithium battery also reduces recycle time to 1.5 seconds at full power.
This is the first manual flash to offer HSS. High Speed Sync allows you to shoot shutter speeds up to 1/8000s instead of the standard 1/250s. Perfect for freezing action and giving you full control of the ambient light, even in the bright mid-day sun. Strobepro XT Transmitter is required for HSS.
Build a System
One flash is just never enough. At this price, you can pick up two of them, along with a radio controller, and still spend less than you would on just a single flagship flash from the big camera brands.
Rock Solid Build Quality
The Godox V850ii Lithium is built out of the highest quality materials. Hold it in your hand and you’ll instantly know this flash means business. Put it beside a top of the line big brand flash and you’ll pick the V560ii every time.
The built-in 2.4GHz radio receiver offers full power control and triggering without the need for an attached receiver. Just a single radio transmitter is all you’ll need to have full control over all your V850ii flash units, and any other compatible Godox/Strobepro lights you may have.
The X60M Lithium packs some serious punch with a Guide Number of 60. That’s equivalent to the highest-end models from Canon and Nikon.
The huge 14-200mm zoom range allows the flash to push light as far as possible.
You don’t need a master’s degree to work this flash. The simple and intuitive menus get directly to the point and get you shooting fast.
We back the V850ii with our Strobepro 2-year warranty. If anything happens we take care of it right here in Canada at our warehouse.

Everything from speed of shipping to the unit itself has been good. The only thing I would appreciate would be a little more documentation. I do much more natural light and coming back to refresh my memory on the units would be helped by a brief guide.
Strobepro. Seriously. Every photographer from enthusiast to pro should be using their gear. The quality to cost ratio is off the charts. These flash units are a great upgrade from a AA battery set up. The amount of full power bursts i get from this lithium unit is incredible. They work flawlessly with the Strobepro triggers, and i've rarely seen a miss-fire (No fire). Having the ability to hotshoe through the trigger is a welcome feature, and the HSS is great for beating the sun to the punch, or freezing action.
(Long time user tip: once your batteries are charged, remove them from the charger. If left in the charger for long periods, they'll slowly discharge through the circuitry. But you always check your batteries the night before a shoot, right? )
