The 400M is based on the same body design as our XPRO studio strobes, and has many of the same modern conveniences with its built in radio receiver, and the ability to dump power internally. The 400M forgoes some bells and whistles for a more attractive price. There's just so much value crammed into this workhorse of a light!
Not every user requires the high speed sync capability offered by our XPRO strobes. In fact, HSS has fairly limited applications indoors. The 400M provides a lower cost option for shooters who are not using this feature.
The 400M is part of the Strobepro X Series and has the radio receiver built right inside. You'll just need to add any Strobepro controller like the XT or XT Pro and you're set. Adjust power, modelling lamp, recycle beep, and fire the strobe right from the controller. Plus the best thing is that all your Strobepro speelites and other flashes will work together off the same controller.

The 400M is fast and recycles from 0.3 to 1.5 second at full power.
The Strobepro 400M flash is built out of metal. It's designed to be used daily and can take the abuse.
Less expensive strobes can overheat easily. The 400M is fan cooled with overheat protection.
