Although missing the TCM function like the XT Pro, this model lets me use my Pocket Wizard radios with my legacy strobe gear by simply mounting a PW MiniTT1 on the X2T hot shoe. I like that this model also lets you see the LCD screen from the back when the camera is mounted high on a tripod or shooting straight down. It has been reliable and no sync issues.
While it doesn't offer in-depth controls as easily accessed on the front panel like my X-Pro transmitter, it's a great second unit and perfectly sufficient for the most common tasks such as adjusting light power.
The Godox X2T-C does everything I need it to do. Besides controlling my Godox V860iiC Speedlites flawlessly, I can mount my Canon ST-E2 on top and control my older Canon Speedlites at the same time. The hot shoe on top is brilliant! And the icing on the cake is the Bluetooth. I can leave the X2T-C on my 5DmkIII and trigger the strobes from my phone for flashmeter readings. Awesome!!!
I liked the unit for all its benefits, but returned it due to the simple fact that I was unable to zoom the flash heads independently via the trigger. I swapped it out for the XT Pro and I'm pleased.
Dealing with Strobepro has been a very pleasant experience. They are very helpful.
