Strobepro XPRO 400W HSS (Godox QTII 400) Studio Lighting Kit
The Next Generation
The Strobepro XPRO 400 HSS Studio Strobe changes the game. Huge advancements in strobe technology make this our flagship plug in studio lighting kit.
XPRO HSS 400W Kit
We've packed the best gear Strobepro has to offer in this kit. Weather you're new to studio lighting or a seasoned veteran, this kit will exceed your expectations in performance, price, features and ease of use. All backed by our 2 Year Canadian Warranty.
(HSS) High Speed Sync
HSS changes the game. Never worry about shutter speed again. Gone are the limitations of your camera's sync speed. The XPRO 400 HSS enables users to shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 of a second. Try doing that on another strobe! HSS on Fuji, Panasonic/Olympus and Pentax is not compatible on the XPRO strobes.
Strobepro X Series Wireless
The XPRO 400HSS has the X Series receiver built right inside. Just pick up the optional Strobepro XT Radio Controller and you've got full control over the strobe right from the camera. Best of all, the same controller commands all other Strobepro X Series products including: X60 Speedlites, X360 Strobes, X600II Manual and TTL Lithium Strobes plus all future Strobepro strobes. Full power control, group control and firing from your fingertips. Mix and match whatever you want.
2 Year Canadian Warranty
The XPRO 400 HSS includes the Strobepro 2 year Canadian warranty. If you need service we've got you covered right here in Canada.
Freeze Motion Easily
Sports, kids, dancers and all other fast movement can easily be frozen with HSS and the XPRO 400's lightning fast recycling time of less than half a second. The XPRO can also shoot High Speed at 10 shots per second. You won't find a faster strobe.
Short Flash Duration
The t1 flash duration is 1/316 to 35086s.
8 Stops of Power
The XPRO 400HSS can dial all the way down to 1/128 power in 1/3 or 1/10 increments. This means you can dial low enough to use your fastest lenses for silky smooth bokeh. Great for portrait and newborn shooting.
Go ahead, add a whole army of XPRO 400 HSS strobes to your studio. You've got 16 groups and 32 channels which are all controllable of the same Strobepro XT controller.
Huge LCD Screen
Easily see all your settings on the bright backlit LCD screen.
9' Air Cushioned Light Stands
Protect your strobes and your head with the smooth action air cushion release. You'll never have equipment come crashing down again. These stands are all metal and can take up to a 12 pound load.
Strobepro Ultimate Wheeled Kit Bag - Large
We took our hugely popular kit bag and made it a whole lot better for 2017. Personally designed by the owner of Strobepro, we're confident this bag is as good as other $700 bags on the market. It will fit your entire kit with ease.

Over all experience was amazing, but I didn’t end up with the kit due to back order issues of the carry bag. ( I opted for the heads only as I needed to replace my lighting )
One strobe head came with defective bulb, that the staff replaced with one phone call / next day shipping and absolutely no issues.
Over all the staff was great to deal with even in a pandemic.
I've been using this strobe for YEARS in my studio.
I work in newborn and family photography, and it's lighting range is perfect for the requirements I need. From the extreme levels so I can do backlit shots to the lowest levels that are soft enough to not disturb my delicate subjects. Color in post is very accurate with no off colour that you tend to get from other non-strobepro products.
However...the screw knob that mounts the strobe to your stand, it tends to loosen up when you roll your light around, so watch that carefully. My first strobe light that I bought years ago does not do this, but my second one that I bought in November 2020 does. Maybe it's user error and I need a stronger hand to tighten it.
I was torn between this one and the ad600, but I decided I did not need a wireless and prefer to not have to worry about the risk of dead batteries. I don't regret this purchase at all! These are shot with an 86" parabolic umbrella.
