    A little shaky

    I love the round head attachment. I feel more confident about the light quality. I use this with a 24” silver beauty dish to get the more power out of my ad200 while shooting outdoors. The head is a bit shaky, not as secure as the original fresnel head. But it works!

    Round flash head for Godox AD200 Pro

    Functions as expected based on all the reviews and research prior to the purchase.
    Solid build, lighting subjects really well, finding multiple uses from portrait photography, family photos, event photos.
    Experimenting for use it in macro photography, so far results positive.
    Should really be part of the Godox AD200 Pro kit.

    I bought this attachment for the ease of use of gels with the AD200. However, once placed in a softbox or halfdome, the light dispersion from the head is very concentrated towards the centre of the box, even when used with the dome accessory inside the softbox. I found the bare bulb head had the best illumination to completely cover the panel of the softbox, however, using gels with the elastic bands can be tedious and time consuming when changing setups on a shoot. So, if you need to use gels with the round flash head, just be aware that inside a softbox that you'll only be illuminating about 1/4 of the box face. Great addition to my kit and have absolutly no reservations about the purchase what so ever.

    Hi! I have a few questions on how to control modelling light on Godox H200R with Godox X2T remote trigger? I need to use H200R on the stand remotely to lighten up the background (actually, artwork) during the interview. It would be kind of far - on two different balconies/part of the mezzanine. On the H200R we have 3 levels of brightness. I am not sure how to control those levels remotely with X2T-N. I can turn it on and off with one of the levels of brightness. I was able to it with minimum power (once and could not repeat it again) and with maximum level. The second question, how long the modelling light would stand on the H200R? Is it depend on the sleep time of the AD200 Pro unit or X2T? Can I control it?

    HI,<br/>The modelling lamp will only turn on from the controller to what you have perviously set it at. There is no way to adjust the brightness from the controller. It is either on or off. The lamp will go off with the sleep mode on the AD200 Pro but you can set that time in the menu.<br/>Thanks
