Background reflector praised for focusing light effectively on backgrounds. Customers said it "gives a great even light that is easy to control" and "illuminates the background" excellently. Well-made with quality construction, though metal can bend. Some note gel clips are spaced too wide for standard 12" sheets. One customer reported light leak issues.

As usual this reflector is well made. For use without gels, it's perfect. However be aware that the clips which are designed to hold a gel sheet are too far apart (13 1/2") to hold a standard 12" gel sheet. The product description should include the length and width of the oval opening so those who are intending to use this reflector with gels are made aware.
And, as usual ordering, purchasing and shipping are all very efficient.
Thanks for your review. To use the reflector with our gels you just need to put them on a diagonal. That way there is room to cover the whole opening. We do it this way so we can maximize the throw of the reflector while still fitting gels and keeping them a standard size for other uses. Thanks again for your support.

Was trying to use strobe with barn doors but often getting a light leak and uneven light. This gives a great even light that is easy to control

Not a fan, theres light leak between the adapter and modifier that blasts sideways from the strobe.

Used the reflector to focus the light from the strobe on the background. Build quality was no surprise. good quality. Easy to put on strobe. great product.

I'm running ID photo booth and it is just perfect solution for hazing on face area with normal reflector and more details for thin haired old customers's portraits.. it works just as I imagined!!

I like the background reflector - set up is easy except I was afraid I would break the plastic when snapping it together. I hope replacement parts are easy to get if needed.

Liked the way this illuminates the background. Planning to use more of it in my portrait photography, in lieu of placing lights on either side of the background for illumination

i presume this would not adapt to a speedlight?

What is the difference between big and small broncolor background, I need one or two big and smaa for the broncolor pulso.
It is just the speedring size from Broncolor. The Pulso uses the Broncolor Big speedring.
