The 13' Rotatable Boom Light Stand can be described in just one word It's a "must have"...okay so that is 2 words. If you have a big studio an always set up large boom on a C stand is useful , but if you have a small studio where space is at a premium or like me do mostly on location work compact multi use equipment is a must. The stand in this is kit is robust and heavy enough to be very stable even at maximum height but the ability to easily convert to a boom stand to get a light overhead or close to a subject with out the tripod visible is outstanding. Strobe Pro you have the equipment that makes life as a photographer easier and more productive, and the service is always A+. Get one of these rotatable stands in either 13 or 16 foot configurations your kit will be better for it.

Strong sturdy product! You can tell that it is quality as soon as it’s out of the box! It is a little heavy for portability…but a great add to my studio kit!

This is my second purchase of this light stand. Very portable, sturdy and relatively light weight compared to studio C stands. Also comes with a counterweight bag that can be clipped on the end of the boom, or placed on the leg frame when not using the boom. Easily works with an AD 6oo strobe and modifiers.

I liked so much I bought my second one. Not only I need a higher light stand ( was considering buying a 10' standard light stand), I decide to get this one. It can go 13' up or use as a boom rotatable light stand, perfect solution.

this equipment is fantastic... i did not expect much for how little the cost, however this stand is heavy duty and can hold my AD600 along with Magmod 48" pro with no problems.

This is a grate Item , Stable light wait and allow me to do overhead lighting. I used with my 36 Rapid Deep parabolic Softbox from StrobePro and I liked it

Solid build! Been using pop bottles filled with water as counter weights to hold a 32 modifier, holds it exactly where I want it once tightened. So far, excellent product.

Works as advertised. Boom arm itself seems a little flimsy with less than the stated payload on it. Perfect for pack/head with small modifier, wouldnt recommend with a large soft box etc. Great value, well built.

This stand is really sturdy and easy to adjust. I was disappointed that I was unable to put the light & soft box I wanted to on it because the boom arm bowed with the weight. I changed to a smaller light and soft box. It seems to be fine, but I have not tried it out yet.

This thing is awesome. I may need to pick another up. Ive converted this stand into a sound panel. Ive hung two moving blankets clipped on with some cheap clamps from Canadian Tire and Im loving it. Saves some money, weight and storage room from buying a c-stand. Im a big fan of this product. Well built and sturdy.

Ive had the boom stand for about a month now, and Ive been very happy with my purchase so far. Solid build and feel; I can tell it will be a good work horse for a couple of years.
