The AC adapter turns my AD600BM into the perfect studio strobe. For a small additional investment, I now have a great HSS strobe for outside and for the studio.

So happy to have received these two for in my studio - no need to risk running out of battery life during sessions.

Easy to use and great to save on batteries. I did have a few issues with the strobe not communicating at times with the trigger - when the AC adapter was attached. When I changed to battery there were no issues. Not sure if related.

When shooting indoors where power is easy to get I prefer to save the battery for outdoors or when my setup is constantly changing. Worth the little extra for the option.

I was very impressed with Strobepro and their outstanding customer service. I called before I purchased my gear and chatted at length with Jesse about the gear. He was more than willing to speak with me and answer all my questions. Incredible to deal with. The best thing was that I emailed them a few days after I got my gear delivered and they had just started running a Black Friday sale and the light I bought was on sale for $100 cheaper than what I paid for it. They emailed me back and happily credited my card for the $100 difference since the purchase was within 7 days. That to me is just going above and beyond. In this industry Customer Service is paramount and Strobepro and the people there have gone way above and beyond. I will definitely be buying more gear from them, that I can guarantee!

Good addition to battery powered strobe, if you have power available. Save the battery and easy to use.

I have the extension head so I don't have to have the heavy part of my light out at the end of a boom. I bought this so I didn't have to worry about the battery running out and it works great for its intended purpose. However the unit is larger than the battery and the way the wire attaches makes it even longer so now the power part no longer fits into its bag and cannot be attached to the stand. If I use this there is no way to securely attach the power unit to the stand.

Love the ability to pull power from an outlet for extended shooting. The modular design of the Godox line is ideal when shooting on location.

Like all the products I've got from Strobe Pro in works as it should and I'm confident if there is every a problem they will work diligently to resolve it... never had a problem yet, fingers crossed...
