Ex: I used it to convert a display tripod stand into a light stand. Legs lay flat on the ground and therefore almost out of your way!

Holds my ad600 pro up when using the extension head. Seems strong......clamp is good and tight on c stand. Does the job intended to do.

Bought 2, one to hold my Godox AD 600 Pro body to the light stand (I have the extension head), and one to hold an articulated arm to attach my iPad to my tripod for tethering. Both work like a charm!

These are just plain handy for more complex setups, and having a flexible grip and mounting attachment like this solves a variety of problems. Definitely have some of these around, plus the pricing here is definitely competitive vs some others on the market, yet still has that great build quality.

Super sturdy and useful in a number of scenarios. I regularly use this clamp to add a second light to a single light stand, freeing up floor space.
My only complaint is that it comes with a standard spigot, not a hex or one with a flat side, so the connection can swivel under load unless you swap it out.

Needed lights ASAP durring the Pandemic, and they made it super simple and quick.

Proceed with caution: The inside "grip" is made of hard plastic which means it will never fully grip a round object and cause the clamp to creep or slip - especially under weight.
Happy to support local and Canadian, and Strobepro products are usually great. However this isn't a Strobepro product I'd buy again - I'd recommend the main brands for clamps.

Easily supported a 400 Watt second flash head suspended from back drop cross bar. Very good value-for-money compared to brand name original.

This is a great piece of gear. Using it to hold up the "Telescoping Background Stand Crossbar Pole" with a pair of Autopoles, and it's working very well.

I had hoped to use it as a way to mount my hairlight, but the weight of the light and the grip of the clamp on the stand caused the clamp to spin around and my light to fall. We found a temporary solution by wrapping electrical tape on the stand first to add more friction but it's still not as sturdy as I had hoped. This clamp was only one of many items I purchased this round, and everything else is wonderful!

I can mount my light easily on the ceiling bar, and remove one of the light stands and gain more space.

I just received these and wasn't expecting very much for the price. I was really surprised. It's all metal--except for the handle--and will hold just about anything I throw at it. Another winner from Strobepro.
