Handy Dandy stand for getting Rapid Snap Portrait Illuminator lower to ground, although wouldn't mind if I could get it even lower, but will. have to figure out something else...

I like how this can be made lower with the legs outstretched so it works for my eye lighter yet it's tall enough and strong enough to work as a regular light stand as well.

This is a very high quality light stand. You'll have some confidence that your LED light won't just flop over - the legs spread out decently wide.

I have about a dozen of light stands. The ones from Strobepro (4) are the best. The other ones are from B&H, Vistek, Amazon, eBay.

Packs small and is easy to set up. Despite product warnings that it won't support a strobe, in my experience it functioned just fine supporting a strobe, provided the lighting modifier is not too heavy. It works well with umbrellas and light soft boxes.

I am a returning customer to STROBEPRO. I enjoy the competitive prices and good quality. I have two of these stands. In my home studio, I use one to hold my 32" reflector (b/c the stand has a wide center of gravity) and the other to hold my MS300, which I use as a background light. When not at home, I pair the stand with an umbrella and TT685 speedlight.

More robust than I was expecting. This stand is nice and compact, but it is very solid and well made. Perfect portable setup with the 43" Brolly Box and the AD100.

These small stands have a nice wide stance. They give me mobility and loads of stability for the quick and dirty shoots!

So far so good! I bought this specifically to fit in my luggage for travel. Its sturdier than I anticipated. Great for flashes and smaller strobes. I think it would handle the 600 fine in studio but for outdoors I use the extension cable and just the head on top of the stand.

Took it with me for a wedding in Rome. Perfect, fits the side of my carry-on, very light abs very effective. Loved working with it.

This stand is slightly bulkier than my westcott compact stand but it is also more stable and stronger. This stand is a great compromise of size and stability.

Perfect size to put in a suitcase and use on away jobs. I've struggled to find a light stand that is large and strong enough to hold my lights but small enough to travel with... this one does the trick! It's just barely big enough to use with my X600II and a small/medium soft box, but it does the trick on travel jobs and means I pay less to bring gear with me on trips!

Purchased two of these as my 6th and 7th light stands. I currently have two of the 7' auto air, two el-cheapo Amazon 9' stands, and a 7' Mantis. These are probably the most sturdy out of all of them! The footprint is wide enough for a 36" octobox or beauty dish. I would use it outside with some mass/pegs to hold it down. It flexes a little but not even coming close to where I'm concerned about its strength. The only problem I have with it is that it's a touch heavy. Super solid and a bit heavy. Probably as heavy as the 7' auto-airs. Except they fold up way smaller. For ease of use they are perhaps a bit above average. They operate nice and smoothly- no binding when you flip out the legs. Everything tightens easily and doesn't slip, so you don't have to crank the knobs to stop it from slowly collapsing. No issues there. Overall I would buy them again. I probably will when I have need for more stands, or decide to turf some of my larger ones.
