very solid for high lights

This is leaps and bounds better than cheaper light stands...don't waste your money on cheap stands - this is great quality for the price. My only small issue is (like with 7ft auto-air) it would be nice to be able to disable the "auto-folding" leg option (i.e. keep the legs out like standard stands) which helps on uneven surfaces or surfaces that aren't smooth.

Bought two while they had a great sale going. Stand are amazing (Ive only had them for a month). My only concern is how the air cushion will hold up over time. But overall great experience from search and purchase to shipping and use.

Stop&drop

I love drop stands. these 2 that I own are more compacked then the competition out there.i also own savage drop stands . Much bigger. I prefer a smaller foot print.

Quality of these stands I found these beat my expectations. 9ft stands are built more robust than 7 or 8’. Don’t bother with the cheap Amazon stuff to save a buck or two. Look at these stands, you will not be disappointed.

Great Self Folding Light Stand

One of the best self folding light stands out there and I have tried a bunch of them. Tall height and small footprint makes it perfect for wedding reception lighting for flashes and led panels.

I use a godox 200 flash and sometimes a godox 400…would I be able to get away with the 9 ft auto light stand or need to up size to the 10 ft.

It’s not the added price that’s an issue but rather hope to be able to get away with a shorter stand collapsed for transporting it to and from shoot

Strobepro Studio Lighting

The 9ft is no problem with the AD200. It will also work with the AD400 as long as you aren't using huge modifiers. You'd be okay up to a 36" Softbox. The 10' Auto is significantly bigger in build and can handle any size modifier you can throw at it.
