The Strobepro Adjustable Wall Boom moves your lighting support off the floor while keeping your light ready to use. It is especially useful in smaller studios, permanent shooting areas, product photography spaces, and anywhere you regularly position a light in the same general area.
Pivot, Tilt and Extend
Being attached to the wall doesn't mean you're stuck with one lighting position. The boom extends from 31.5" to 49.5" from the wall, rotates through a 170° side-to-side arc, and provides a wide range of upward and downward tilt. This creates a large working area for positioning your light without moving a stand across the floor.
Strong Braced Construction
The first section of the boom is reinforced by a support brace to increase stability when equipment is mounted and the boom is extended. For the safest setup, the wall boom must be securely attached to suitable structural support using mounting hardware appropriate for the wall construction.
Two-Way Spigot
The included spigot can be installed in-line with the boom or perpendicular to it, giving you more flexibility when mounting strobes, LED lights, brackets, and other compatible equipment. The spigot includes standard 1/4" and 3/8" threaded connections.

How much weight can the Strobepro Adjustable Wall Boom hold?
Safe working capacity depends on several factors, including how far the boom is extended, its angle, the weight and balance of the equipment, the wall construction, and the mounting hardware used. For this reason, we do not recommend choosing a payload based on a single maximum weight figure. Always mount the boom securely into appropriate structural support and reduce the load as the boom is extended. Using standard strobes and modifiers is no problem.
Can I mount a strobe or LED light directly to the boom?
Yes. The included standard spigot is designed for compatible strobes, LED lights, brackets, and other photography or video equipment. The spigot can be positioned in-line or perpendicular to the boom depending on your setup.
Does the wall boom fold away when I'm not using it?
Yes. One of the main advantages of a wall boom is that it can swing back toward the wall when not in use, freeing up valuable studio floor space.
What size is the wall mounting plate?
The wall mounting plate measures 14 cm wide x 30 cm tall (5.5" x 11.8"). The mounting holes are spaced 10 cm apart horizontally and 26 cm apart vertically (3.9" x 10.2"), measured centre-to-centre.
Is wall mounting hardware included?
No. Wall mounting hardware is not included because the correct fasteners depend on the structure and material of your wall. The boom should be attached to suitable structural support using hardware appropriate for the installation.
Can I install the wall boom into drywall?
The boom should not rely on drywall alone for structural support. It should be securely fastened to appropriate structural support behind the wall or another suitably engineered mounting surface. The correct installation method will depend on your wall construction and the equipment you intend to mount.
What are the 1/4" and 3/8" threads on the spigot for?
