Boîte à lumière STROBEPRO RAPID SNAP (grand format 81 x 119 cm) - Location

I bought this to replace my second 5-foot parabolic umbrella that got destroyed by a wind gust. The weak point of the umbrellas was the flimsy shaft which always took the full force of the hit. After destroying *2* of those, I decided to go with a similar size octabox. The advantage, I think, is that it is a much more robust design. I like that there is no umbrella shaft sticking out towards the subject - that always made me nervous for safety reasons. I really like the quick setup of these. It was a bit stiff at first but I anticipate it should loosen up. The compactness is great.

Love the design of the Rapid Snap series. I set aside my very tempremental godox strip boxes and replaced them with the largest ones from Strobepro. I really like that the speed ring design allows you to switch out for other platforms, like my Broncolor lights. These will save them a lot of hassle for setup/breakdown during my lighting workshops that I run. While I haven't used them just yet, I don't expect any issues. I also received excellent support with a quick replacement for a part that was missing or lost. Very responsive and professional. These folks know how to keep customers.
