Panel Lite Strobepro Easy Up

I think it is a great buy at the Black Friday Price point. Looked at few others in the same price range and this one was a great choice compared to the competitors. Some did not even come with diffusion material. Very happy ,will buy another one soon.

I would echo some of the previous reviews in that I would love to see a black fabric made for this frame in order to use it as a flag, and it would have been great if the included transport bag's main zipper had two sliders so that we could leave the mounting hardware attached and close the zipper from both sides around it.

First shoot with this and and the hole with the c-stand attachment connects it about to punch through the entire frame. This is not built for outdoor use.

This reflector/flag/scrim unit is fantastic, and has seen a lot of use since I picked it up about 6 months ago. It's lightweight, but sturdy, and easy to transport when folded up. I'm likely going to pick up a couple more in the coming year... Awesome for a sun-scrim when shooting portraits outside, great for a reflector in my studio, and really helpful for diffusing fill light when shooting home interiors. I'd love to see a black fabric option as well for creating shadows(going to have one made for the unit I have already...). The only gripe I have is having to use an allen key to attach/remove the mounting hardware, it's a bit of a pain. That said, I picked up some tool-free bolts off amazon to use instead, and it's waaaay more convenient.

I think this product offers good long term value for the cost. My only issue is that with the supplied mounting brackets attached, the frame will not fit into the supplied bag and still let me close the bag zipper. Either the bag or the mounting bracket should be modified to let me leave the mounting bracket attached. I dont want to remove the bracket (Allen screw attached) every time I put the frame into the bag.

The panel size is great. The adapter to connect the panel to the optional boom only permits the boom and panel to be folded to about 90 degrees so carrying it around can be awkward and cumbersome (middle image). I decided to use a griphead to clamp to the litepanel and now you can fold it completely (Third image) as it is a less cumbersome way for the person holding the panel during traveling to another location. It also can create a tripping hazard if you put the panel on the ground between shooting. The adapter for the C stand boom has to be taken off if you want to store it in the bag as it will not fit into the bag zipped (first image). You have to take off the adapter.

I resorted to using the griphead to connect the panel to the boom and bypassed ALL the adapters as you can fold the boom stand and panel so its not as cumbersome to carry and It requires no tools to take off the adapter aka griphead and the griphead just barely fits into the bag with the panel,

I prefer that whatever I use I don't have to use hand tools to assemble/disassemble on location. If you lose the allan wrench, you are hooped.

Great tool in the kit. Easy to put together. The diffuser fits snugly.

Very simple to assemble and take down. My one complaint is that you need to use the allen wrench to attach stand attachment. Not a big deal but I worry about losing the wrench on location. I like the fact that the silks and reflectors are included and you dont need to buy the separate like most other brands.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The collapsible frame makes it quick and easy to assemble. Installing the included diffusion cloth is also easy and works well. The included light stand mounting bracket is what really sold this for me. Overall I would definitely buy this again.
