Nicely-engineered stand. If it was 1” shorter, I would have bought three more after testing this one. Most of my work is on location and I fly for lots of jobs. For 35 years I’ve used a pair of SKB 48”L (golf club) cases for my C-Stands and Manfrotto 11’ Stacker Stands, which are all 47” long (compressed) to fit within "non-oversize airline baggage" requirements. These don’t, sadly. With their reputation for nicely-made gear, you’d think someone at StrobePro would have though of that...
