    XR

Universal TTL Receiver with Built-In Battery

The Godox XR TTL Wireless Receiver is a compact 2.4 GHz receiver designed to add Godox X System wireless control to compatible flashes and studio strobes. This updated version features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and a new colour screen, eliminating the need for AAA batteries and improving visibility and usability. A single XR receiver works with both Canon and Nikon TTL systems, making it ideal for multi-camera workflows.

Strobepro is Canada’s largest Godox distributor, offering expert support, a 2-year warranty on Godox products, and fast in-house service from our Calgary service centre.

    Key Features

    • Canon and Nikon TTL in One Unit - One receiver supports Canon E-TTL II and Nikon i-TTL.
    • Built-In Rechargeable Lithium Battery - No disposable batteries required, with convenient USB charging.
    • New Colour Screen - Improved visibility and faster access to settings.
    • Godox X 2.4 GHz Wireless System - Full integration with Godox X transmitters.
    • Remote Shutter Release Capability - Wireless camera triggering with optional cables.

One Receiver for Canon and Nikon

The XR receiver replaces older system-specific receivers by supporting both Canon and Nikon TTL protocols in a single unit. This reduces the need for multiple receivers and simplifies inventory for studios, schools, and photographers using mixed camera systems.

Works with Godox X3 and X3 Pro Triggers

The XR receiver pairs seamlessly with Godox X-series transmitters, including the X3 and X3 Pro, allowing full control of flash output, groups, TTL, and high-speed sync directly from the camera.

    Wireless Remote Shutter Release

The XR can function as a wireless remote shutter release when paired with a compatible Godox transmitter. Remote shutter triggering works with virtually any camera brand when the correct camera cable is connected. Camera-specific shutter cables are sold separately.

    Supported Camera Shutter Cables

The following Godox shutter release cables are commonly used with the XR receiver. Compatibility depends on your camera’s remote port.

    • Godox RC-1 - Canon cameras with N3 remote terminal
    • Godox RC-5 - Canon cameras with E3 remote terminal
    • Godox RC-2 - Nikon cameras with 10-pin remote terminal
    • Godox RC-3 - Nikon cameras with DC-2 remote terminal
    • Godox RC-6 - Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, and other cameras using Multi or Micro USB style remote ports

Please confirm your camera’s remote port type before purchasing. Shutter cables are sold separately.

Simple Sync Connection for Studio Strobes

The included 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm sync cable allows the XR receiver to connect to most studio strobes for basic flash firing. This makes it an easy way to add Godox X wireless triggering to lights without built-in receivers.
