    AD100PROII

Ultra-Compact TTL Flash with Professional Refinement

The Godox AD100 Pro II Pocket Flash is a refined 100Ws battery-powered flash that delivers studio-style control in an ultra-compact body. Building on the original AD100 Pro, the Pro II version improves output stability, colour consistency, modeling light performance, display clarity, zoom control, and wireless flexibility, making it an excellent choice for on-location portraits, events, product photography, and travel kits.

    The Strobepro Difference

Strobepro is Canada’s largest Godox distributor, offering expert support, a 2-year warranty on Godox lights, and fast in-house service from our Calgary service centre.

    Key Features

    • 100Ws Battery-Powered Output - Compact flash with reliable power for location and creative lighting.
    • TTL and High-Speed Sync - Automatic exposure control and HSS up to 1/8000s.
    • Adjustable Flash Zoom - Variable zoom lets you focus or spread light depending on modifier and shooting distance.
    • Improved Colour Stability - More consistent colour temperature across the full power range.
    • Enhanced LED Modeling Light - Brighter, more usable modeling light for previewing light placement.
    • Built-In Godox X System - 2.4 GHz wireless control with Godox X-series triggers.

What’s New in the AD100 Pro II

The AD100 Pro II introduces meaningful refinements over the original AD100 Pro, improving usability, reliability, and wireless performance:

    • New High-Contrast Screen - Updated display with improved clarity and readability for faster setting adjustments.
    • RGB Light Indicators - Colour-coded status indicators provide quick visual confirmation of group, channel, and shooting status.
    • Improved Output Stability - Tighter exposure control for consistent results frame to frame.
    • Enhanced Modeling Light - More effective LED modeling light for composition and modifier positioning.
    • Refined Zoom Control - Adjustable flash zoom with clearer visual feedback using the new high-contrast screen.
    • 433 MHz Wireless Compatibility - Optional long-range wireless control with reduced interference.

Perfect Match with the Godox S3 Bracket

When paired with the Godox S3 Speedlite Bracket, the AD100 Pro II becomes a fully modifier-ready flash. The S3 securely holds the flash and adds a Bowens mount, allowing you to use softboxes, octaboxes, and other professional light shapers.

Optimized for Strobepro Rapid Snap Softboxes

Using the S3 bracket, the AD100 Pro II pairs exceptionally well with Strobepro Rapid Snap softboxes. Rapid Snap softboxes offer fast, tool-free setup and deliver soft, controlled light, making them ideal for portable portrait, product, and on-location work.

433 MHz Wireless Module for Advanced Control

In addition to its built-in 2.4 GHz receiver, the AD100 Pro II supports 433 MHz wireless operation when paired with the Godox FR433 Receiver, which connects via the USB-C port. This setup enhances signal stability and helps minimize interference in complex shooting environments.

When used with the Godox FT433 Trigger, longer transmission distances can be achieved. The FT433 system is compatible with Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras and can also control compatible Godox flashes including the AD200 Pro II, AD400 Pro II, AD600 Pro II, and AD600BM II.

    Small Form Factor, Big Capability

With its internal rechargeable battery and compact cylindrical design, the AD100 Pro II fits easily into small bags while still integrating seamlessly into larger Godox lighting systems. It is an excellent choice for photographers who want maximum flexibility without carrying heavy gear.

    Godox AD100 PRO ROCKS!!!!!

I already had the AD200 and AD400 but wanted something more compact and portable. It’s worked out better than I expected. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for that “just a bit more than a speed lite” light.

Excellent flash, excellent company to deal with!

I'm very happy with my new Godox AD100 Pro TTL Pocket Flash, and the Trigger I bought to go with it. I love the fine level of control it gives me for lights and the size is perfect for taking EVERYWHERE. Service from the guys at Strobepro was exemplary! I highly recommend this store.

    Packs a punch

This strobe aims high and packs a punch for its small stature. Great for run and gun shoots on location and easy to use alone when I dont have an assistant. Worth the $$$.

    A great little mini strobe

Off-camera flash has evolved a lot since I bought my first hotshoe flash a dozen years ago. This little device is pretty brilliant, really. In exchange for doing away with the hotshoe mount entirely you get a sturdy builtin (but removable) umbrella stand adapter. Its form-factor is extremely well thought out and it's super flexible and adaptable as well as looking and feeling solid. It amounts to being a very capable mini strobe.

    Good stuff:
    - 1/10th stop power adjustment is a godsend
    - well integrated with the Godox XPro remote trigger
    - modifier attachments (gels, grids, domes, etc.) are trivially added or removed magnetically, and can be stacked
    - fits nicely into the S2 Bowens mount bracket adapter
    - very fast recycling; beep is really nice

    Not so good:
    - I experienced some mis-fires (2.5%) -- this could be issues with the XPro-P and my Pentax body though
    - tiny, hard to read text on buttons and body -- I can't use this thing by feel; I have to wear my reading glasses to use it
    - as shipped, the two knobs on the umbrella adapter can and do interfere with each other turning at any angle of the knuckle -- readily fixed by shifting the baby pin knob to the opposite side of socket.
    - it took me a while to find the manual which is tucked into the almost completely opaque pocket in the lid of its travelling case.

I used it in a StrobePro 25 inch beauty dish + grid, Bowens speedring, installed in the S2 Godox adapter. Despite shooting 80 frames at 1/4 power fairly quickly the fan never came on and it stayed pretty cool. See attached photo. f/4, 1/125th sec, ISO 100.

When it comes time to upgrade my other older flashes I will definitely be getting more of these little units.

    Great flash, great shop!

The videos were instrumental in seeing how it can be used. Due to its small size, very portable & will prove helpful in a studio setting as well. It came quickly & the conversation I had with someone at the store was much appreciated for further insight prior to purchasing.

    Great little toyor tool

Such a fantastic little strobe. Fits in the purse just in case I want to use it day to day, which opens all kinds of opportunities! Ive used this to create effects in videos, or light traditionally. Im a big fan of the grid and easy to use gels.

    Excellent flash.

The flash, included umbrella bracket, battery and charger, the fitted case are all top quality.
I have both the canon x1t-c and olympus x1t-o godox transmitters. TTL works like a charm with my canon and olympus camera using the x1t-c and x1t-o transmitter respectively. So if you have two different systems, you only need to spend money on this one flash and the relevant transmitters.
I would also recommend getting the godox s2 type bracket to hold bowens type softboxes.
BTW, I visited the store and the service from this company is very polite and awesome.

    Blinded by the light.

I should have bought two on Black Friday.
I find these so much easier than speed lights in my studio. They are great for backdrop and hair light.

    Awesome light setup

I already own the AD600 HSS, (2) AD200s and now the AD100. Like the other lights in the line, this 100 is top notch, delivering more power than what I need for doing portraits, even outdoors. It weighs very little, and fits in my backpack very well, making it my new "go to" light for the majority of my photography. I see myself buying more down the road.

    It’s Ok

Just used at a wedding and it work well. It does have a few quirks like it can’t used without a transmitter but it is very light and easy to move and place small places.

Can you connect flash to pocket wizards for triggering?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

Yes you can use the 3.5mm PC Sync port and plug your Pocket Wizard in there.
    Thanks

I use pocket wizards (Plus X) as my triggering system, Will the AD100 Pro ll work as I dont see a connection on the pictures and I like to use them wired to my light source?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

Yes there is a 3.5mm sync port located behind the rubber gasket beside the firmware port. You can plug your Pocket Wizards in there if you just want firing without TTL and HSS.
    Thanks
