10 Stop Power Range

HSS (HIGH SPEED SYNC)

More tests to conduct, but I love the softness and brute power of this strobe. It appears to have more than twice the output of my AD200. As a real estate photographer who shoots flash/ambient blends, every so often I need to illuminate large spaces or shoot through an umbrella into rooms with dark or beamed ceilings. I can’t imagine needing more power, as I’ve made due for years with a speedlight and AD200.

This will be used to complement my other ad400 for rear shots. Has some nice upgrades, battery is the same as ad400 pro which is good. Cant go wrong with any of the godox product line.

Truly the sweet spot between mega power output and portability. The Bowens ‘adapter’ feels less like an adapter and more like a hard conversion of native mount option.
The angle adjust on the light stand mount is a bit clunky but I’ve seen some quality mods that can make it way more sturdy for like $2.
So it’s a win all around.

What a great light. It has the power I need and the simplicity to make it quick and easy to use. The battery has power to last and perform. The only small downside is that it requires and modification to allow it to fit Bowen mount modifiers. Thanks so much to Strobepro for full instructions which make this modification easy.

This light is a game changer. It is so much smaller than my 400w plug in strobes, and no longer needing a wall plug or additional batterypack has transformed my work flow. This light allows me to focus on the shot itself rather than cable management. I was nervous about the battery life of such a small unit, but it has far exeeded my expectations and I can do multiple shoots before needing to charge. The only thing I dont like about this light is that is has made the experiance of using my other lights feel so much more cumbersom. I will likely replace my full set up with this line over the next year.
