These are sturdy, elegant and easy to set up. My only note is that the hardware provided is for anchoring in masonry (which...okay?) so chances are pretty good you're going to need to get some drywall or stud anchors to hang these.

I'm satisfied with the product. Just 2 things to note; they're more matte black than the photo's suggest. Which I actually prefer. Secondly, the hardware that's included appears to be useless if you're planning on installing these directly into the wall. The only way it would be effective is to install it into an L bracket like the one person has shown in a previous review. If I'm wrong, I would suggest Strobepro creates an additional YouTube video on how to use the hardware properly. I went out and bought twelve 14x1 wood/metal screws which are the perfect size for these brackets.

I purchased the triple bracket and installed it on the ceiling after making an adaptor to hang it that way (its intended for wall mount). I added a roll of paper with the hand operated lifting shaft, works perfectly. Then I added a second roll, using the solidpro muslin backdrop. This works also, even though I was advised the system really was for paper or vinyl.
For anyone interested in hanging the muslin, I purchased a 2 PVC pipe, 9 ft long. It wasnt strong enough and sagged in the middle with the weight of the cloth, creating creases when the cloth is rolled up. So I changed it to a 2 white plastic pipe used for underground sprinkling and gas venting (also available from Home Depot). This is much stronger and doesnt sag. The weighted chain isnt heavy enough to balance the weight of the cloth, otherwise the whole system works very well.

These are so much more convenient than having your paper up on stands. They're sturdy, the mushroom design that holds the paper in place is very secure, and they're adjustable enough that you don't have to have millimeter precision when putting the brackets on the walls.

I’m trying to ensure I mount the brackets the right distance is there any guide
It is really dependant on the size of paper or backdrop. I suggest mounting the lifting shafts to your paper and the lifting shafts and then inserting into the bracket. Keep it on the floor and place it against the wall. Then you can get your measurement. Be sure to give a little play becasuse the lifting shafts are able to adjust a few inches back and forth for micro adjustments. Once you get the distance you can just mark the placement up on the wall.

What size bolt comes with the set
It comes with concrete anchors:
The head size of the anchor is 12mm.
The length is 61mm.
The hole size in the actual bracket is 8.4mm x2 and 6.4mm x4

Do you have a pole that will fit in the slot of the TRIPLE BACKGROUND BRACKETS - WALL MOUNT? I often have to have a muslin or cloth background that I just need to clamp to a pole. I already have the autopole, so looking for a cross pole that will fit the bracket, or some other alternative.
Hi,
There isn't a specific pole to fit those slots directly since they are normally used for paper. However you can use the 3 Piece Aluminum Crossbar with the Hand Operated Lifting Shaft Set. This will fit right in and then you can roll up the muslin backdrop as well.
