Very effective - no issues

This is the ultimate stand for all needs. It is heavy and while it would be typically be used in a studio environment I purchased it for on-location shooting as well. It is worth it, in my opinion, to haul it around for the stability it offers even though it will not fit in your stand bag.

I purchased two of the newer chrome stands with the metal handles. The old stand purchased through Strobepro had plastic handles and one of the handles failed, the plastic got stripped and the design is such there is no work around. In the new order I received one chrome stand and one black one. The black one has plastic handles.

Using the stand and boom have worked as expected and have made my workflow easier.

This stand is rock solid, I would trust it to hold anything. The boom has a flat edge to prevent your lights from slowly slipping and rotating. This stand has been well thought out. I also own one of their camera bags and a couple of large soft boxes. Everything is well designed and solidly built. The customer service at Strobepro is second to none. This Canadian company has earned my business for life.

The C stand is very sturdy and well made. It is heavy so I got the wheels to go with it. Overall, it is a great product and I will buy one from Strobepro again.

I have other C-stands from Avenger and Kupo. I also have some other Strobepro products, including their very tall heavy duty stand. Based on its quality, I bought their Big C Stand with Boom along with a set of the casters for it. It think they are just as good or better than the other brands I have, and this Big C Stand will go higher as well. I think everything Ive bought from Strobepro represents good long-term value. By that I mean you can by cheaper stands, but you will be throwing them away much sooner than if you spent just a little more on the Big C model. And this Strobepro model is still less expensive than the other brands I have.

Over all this is a fantastic product. I have mounted a ad600 with a 25" beauty dish on it and didn't need to counter weight or add weight to the base of the stand. Downside is its a heavy stand and will take some strength to lift the stand high above your head when you have your strobes on it.

This stand/boom is strong and made well. I have been using it a couple of weeks and had no problems. It's a great value!

Very well built. Easy to use. Solid. I was surprised at how well the knuckles prevented rotation as my previous boom stands you really had to tighten them down quite firmly to get the same holding power. The video, contrary to the images, shows the knobs are covered with a plastic coating to help with comfort in cold conditions but they are are just uncoated metal. Not an issue for me as this stand will only be used indoors.

C Stand is solid and does the job well. Easy to pack up and fold away.

I cant believe I waited so long to buy a boom and cstand. The quality of this stand is great and Im so excited to try new overhead lighting setups with it.

The reviews say enough but apparently I wanted to add just to really solidify a wonderful online shopping experience. Strobepro came up through some research when I was recently looking to invest in upgrading my system. I purchased two light modifiers, this amazing c-stand and another rotating stand. As soon as I placed my order I received a call from the store to verify my order (which I greatly appreciated as if it wasn't myself who placed it this would have saved me from a whole other problem) The gentleman on the phone was very lovely and to the point. At the same time I ordered something from here in Canada from a store unfortunately with a 50/50 rep but the only guy around type thing. Long story short, my dealings with Strobepro half way across the continent was 1000 times better than Vistek here In Toronto. My order arrived very quickly (unlike the other guy) and was packaged extremely well. I was called after placing the order to say there were additional charges for the tripods due to their size and border crossing which I was fine with as it was written somewhere within the site and already new that was a possibility. The rest all qualified for the free shipping. All equipment is perfect. Its well built, high quality and arrived in mint condition. I'm extremely happy with my purchases and experience with Strobepro. It's nice to see companies that still care for the customer. I wish someone could ring up Vistek here and remind them of that same thing. Highly recommend Strobepro and will be returning to hand over all my money as soon as I can earn it. Thanks again!
