I purchased two of these to hold a strobe as close to the ground as possible. These are low profile to pack in a bag, but still surprisingly solidly built for the price. Love the flexibility of using just the stand base or with the extension pole included. Would highly recommend if you need something low to the ground but still very solid.

I bought it to use wit a few purposes:
- small stand for the Moza AirCross2 gimbal Nikon z50 for interviews, when the person is sitting behind the desk
- to hold AD200 Pro or Speedlight for background

So far - working as I expected. Well designed and manufactured.
The only downside of the product is the time required to set up and pick up the parts after.

Purchased this to get a small softbox and x200 closer to the ground. Worked well and will get a second one in the near future.

It does the job but for how long is the question. The legs have a little bump thats supposed to keep them from over turning out of position when spread. That way its an even Y shape to balance weight. Not the case with mine. Maybe its a one off but I only used mine for the first time this weekend and so Im past the 7 day return period now. StrobePro has good quality items so I didnt bother to check this one. Lesson learned!

Great product and great service. I plan on using the stand to mount my AD600 close to the ground when photographing motorsports events. Exactly what I was looking for.

2-piece design, very well built. Can easily use the arm as a small boom for an assistant.

It is sturdy and provides a lower than most, simple and fast mounting option. I bought two - love 'em!

Its nice to be able to set your speedlight at floor levels and have it secure. super sturdy even with a S bracket holding my speedlight. Also nice to be able to use it as a low standing light stand.

A little persnickety for a full size monolite when tilted up for backlighting because you cant read the back panel of the monolite when it is pointed down to the floor. Very excellent though when used with speedlites and speedlite bracket. A one piece soft case for the two piece unit would be appreciated instead of keeping them in the plastic bag it came with

This is an excellent stand I like that I have the ability to set a light inches from the ground.

Perfect for low light position but the design of legs are hard to adjust (they fan out) and leaves the stand at an angle. With a heavy light head, I had some concern about it tipping over. A more robust leg system with levelling feet adjustment would make this stand perfect.

I needed a shorter stand for some of my nature photography and this fits the bill perfectly. Very well made.
