This c-stand is just what I needed! The quality is amazing and I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy it sooner. I'm a school photographer but I dabble in insect boudoir photography as a hobby - honeybees and ladybugs mainly but NEVER centipedes (I won't make that mistake again!). Now that I have this c-stand I have a free hand for positioning and I can light that thorax juuust right. The quality of the stand is awesome, it has a really nice finish to it and the phone holder does exactly what I need it to do.

So a little backstory, I was watching a live stream during covid that Matthews (film euip maker) was a part of. During the stream, they showed a 10" replica c-stand that came with a little business card holder. Normal-sizws c-stands are one o fhte products Matthews is well known for. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff and I thought I might be able to use it to hold my phone during video calls. Sadly it was not strong enough and now it sits on the far corner of my desk. An expensive impulse buy that never got to serve a purpose.
Fast forward to December 2023. And I see this beauty of a stand on the top shelf at the Strobepro store. I see now what the Matthews stand always wished it could be. A phone-holding c-stand. The colors are great. The build is great. I've used it half a dozen times since Xmas and I can see this thing living on my desk forever.

I do a lot of macro and table top work and this mini C stand is perfect for it. Although it is small it is high quality. It is made and functions just like a normal size C Stand. I could be more please

As soon as I saw the video for this C-stand, I new I had to have one. The quality is first rate, very solid. Right now it's a phone stand but it will in come in very handy for tabletop work. WAY TOO COOL!!!

Works excellent with mobile phones, but also holds a portable beamer in place. Looks super cute next to regular C-Stands, but indeed works as useful tool.

It was very easy to place my order for my Strobepro Micro C Stands with Boom. Received them today. (Dec. 11, 2023) These stands are very well made and has so many angles, what's not to like. Great for holding a back light and doing table top photography, just use your imagination, I'm sure you will come up with something. Bonus, two year warranty from STROBEPRO.
