Curved reflectors like our original Portrait Illuminator are incredible tools in the studio, but they aren't exactly easy to travel with. The Strobepro Rapid Snap Portrait Illuminator changes that, setting up or folding flat in seconds. It uses the same folding design as our popular Rapid Snap softboxes.
Beautiful Headshots Made Easy
A curved reflector is the perfect fill modifier for clamshell lighting setups. It gently but noticeably lifts your shadows with minimal fuss. If you want to get the most out of a single light source, look no further than here.
Unique Catchlights
The curved shape can provide a subtle catchlight from below. Because this is such a large reflector, its catchlight can easily cover the whole lower iris. While not as rounded as our first generation Illuminator, the overall character of this reflector is much the same, adding that little pop of brightness and colour to your subject's eyes.
Included Stand Bracket
The Rapid Snap Portrait Illuminator attaches directly to a stand without the need for any complicated hardware. This immediately gives it an advantage over a traditional flat reflector. The bracket's dual ball-head design allows you to angle the Rapid Snap Illuminator into any position you want.
Three Reflective Surfaces
The base reflective material is a pebbled silver, but you can cover it with the included white reflective material for a more diffused look. Reverse the white fabric, and you'll find our gold/silver blended material useful for giving a warmer look to your portraits.
Don't Forget the Stand
We recommend a stand that can dip to lower heights. Our ultra-portable 7' 2GO Light Stand is the perfect companion for this modifier. Select one from the dropdown menu if you don't have something suitable already.
