  • Godox AD1200 Pro TTL HSS Battery Powered Strobe

    AD1200 Pro

Our Most Powerful Battery Strobe Yet

The Godox AD1200 Pro has a massive 1200 Ws maximum output—perfect for heavily stopped-down shooting or HSS. Its 36 V 5200 mAh battery recycles full power in < 2 s and delivers 400+ full-power shots on one charge (about ~1 s to recycle at 600 Ws and 800+ shots at that power).

    Pack and Head Design

At this power level, a pack-and-head design is the best choice. The lightweight head mounts to your stand while the heavier pack—housing the capacitors, fans, and heatsink—stays on the ground. This keeps weight off your stands and makes the pack easy to access for battery checks, group/channel changes, and more.

    THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE

When you buy your Godox AD1200 Pro from us, you get our industry-leading support. Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Enjoy peace of mind with our helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary-based service centre.

    Bright LED Modelling Light

The 40 W COB LED modelling light is bright enough to replace traditional tungsten modelling lamps. If you shoot both stills and video, it can double as a supplementary video light—especially with the wide range of Bowens-mount modifiers available.

    TTL and High-Speed Sync (HSS)

The Godox AD1200 Pro supports TTL and HSS on all major systems with the correct controller mounted on your camera (Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Sony, Olympus/OM-System/Panasonic, and Pentax).

    9-Stop Power Range

Despite its huge maximum output, the AD1200 Pro dials down 9 stops to 1/256 for low-power pops, making it usable in virtually any scenario.

    Fits All Modifiers

The Godox AD1200 Pro uses the Bowens mount and fits all Strobepro and Bowens modifiers, including Strobepro Rapid Snap softboxes.

    Great light

This is my first pack and head unit. It has lots of power to overcome bright sunlight. Having the capacitors and electronics separated from the head is a plus. I do have the extension head for the AD400 too for the same purpose. This takes the weight off the modifier which is great if you are booming in out from a light stand or using it backward firing, like I am, into the para 133.

    A versatile heavy hitter

A well rounded strobe that hits well above its weight class for a fraction of the cost in comparison to its competitors. Highly recommended.

    Top quality

Bought this as part of the summer bundle. An extremely good price.
This pack and head system really is everything I hoped it would be. Build quality is easily on par with Profoto.
Light quality is excellent and stable. Flash duration is as good as it gets.
Basically the whole package just screams quality.
Right now this is being used mainly with a 120cm para and the focussing rod and the fact that the lamp head is so light I have no worries about sending it out on a boom.
I will be getting another one and I'll hope that Godox decides to make a pack that can accommodate two (or more) heads.
If you don't think you need this much power....why not? !
There was a small concern with the packaging of my unit but Strobepro sorted it out within 48 hours. I don't really shop anywhere else now.

Big power in a small package

Just received this light, impressed by the build quality, didn't have to use it full power so far.
My only disappointment so far is the lack of a complete user guide, basic operations are very simple but some options like the UNITS and ALT options will remain a mystery to me until someone makes a complete guide.

Great 1200 watts pack with no complain.

Extremely fast recycling , good modeling light and plenty of power . But the best feature is the flash head so light easy to rig it above subject, and the **** is absolutely well built very secure to hold any type of octaboxes etc... One fun note the sound that pack makes reminded me my Hasselblad 503 CM :)

Can I use the AD 1200 with Profoto modifiers

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

    Hi Joe,
There isn't an adapter from Godox currently. We could likely switch the speedrings in your Profoto modifiers with a Bowens speedring insert. They are $19.95 and very easy to switch out providing your modifiers have the removeable rings.
I also saw this adapter that looks like a user is 3D printing and selling.

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

    Mike T.

I would be more interested in this unit if there was an AC option. Any word about this potential in the future?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

We don't stock the AC adapter but do bring them in by special order.<br/>Thanks
