  • Godox AD-H600P Extension Head for Godox AD600 Pro and AD600BM II

    171800 AD-H600P

Separate the Head. Keep the Power.

The Godox AD-H600P Extension Head is built for photographers who want safer overhead setups with the AD600 Pro platform. By separating the flash head from the strobe body, you can mount the lightweight head on a boom or stand while keeping the heavier battery pack lower—improving stability and making big modifiers far less sketchy.

    Strobepro Advantage

Strobepro is Canada’s largest authorized Godox dealer. Every Godox product purchased from us includes our exclusive 2-year Strobepro warranty, Calgary-based service centre, and expert support.

    Compatibility

Not compatible with the AD600 “BM/B” platform. Those models use the AD-H600B.

    Why You’ll Want One

    • Safer Boom Work – Less weight at the top of your stand.
    • Better Balance – Keep the heavy strobe body lower.
    • Easier Modifier Control – Large softboxes and overhead key lights become far more manageable.
    • Cleaner Setups – Fewer counterweight headaches, less stand flex.

    Mounting Tip

For maximum stability, clamp the strobe body lower on your stand using a Strobepro Super Clamp. It’s an easy way to reduce tipping risk when booming overhead.

    FAQ

Does this product come with a warranty?

Yes. All Godox products purchased from Strobepro include our exclusive 2-year Strobepro warranty. This covers manufacturer defects on the product and is supported by our Calgary-based service centre. Flash tubes are consumable items and are not covered.

Is this compatible with the AD600BM (original)?

No. The original AD600BM / AD600B platform uses the AD-H600B extension head.

Why use an extension head instead of mounting the strobe normally?

Because it makes overhead setups safer and easier. You mount only the lightweight head up top while keeping the heavy battery pack lower on the stand—reducing stand flex and tip risk.

    A must-have!

This is a must-have when booming lights.
It keeps the top light, allowing you to keep the strobe mounted lower as a counterweight.
Great quality build & a welcomed update from the AD600BM version.

    Works great!

Worked just as I wanted. Lightweight and keeps one from having to access the strobe up on the boom. I would recommend this to anyone who booms in a battery powered monohead.

    AD600 PR EXTENSION HEAD

This is a great idea for the AD600. It allows you to place the battery lower on the stand, lowering the center of gravity to make the stand and light less likely to be blown over by the wind. It also stabilizes the stand better so that the light doesn't rock back and forth during a breeze. Great item.

    Extension Head

so glad I picked this extension, I feel so much safer using my umbrella with the extension head connected rather than the entire battery. Much much safer to use!

Does it work with the AD600BM as well?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

It only works with the AD600BM II. The original AD600 BM uses this one. https://strobepro.com/products/godox-ad-h600b-extension-head

What is the difference between AD-h600b and AD-h600p? Seems like the B is alot cheaper?I have 600ad (bought from you)https://www.henrys.com/godox-ad-h600b-extension-head-for-ad600/5637234314.pLes

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

The B is for the manual AD600BM and the P is for the AD600 PRO. Be aware when comparing the price of the AD-H600B to Henry's that you need the locking ring which they don't include. At Strobepro we include the locking ring and the carry bag. https://strobepro.com/products/godox-ad-h600b-extension-head-kit-for-strobepro-x600ii-godox-ad600Thanks
