    Is this the same as the bare bulb flash head?

    No. This is the replacement flash tube only. The flash head is sold separately.

    Replaced my broken flash tube

    I successfully managed to unscrew the wrong **** on my light stand causing the AD 200 Pro II to come crashing down and smashing the bare bulb tube. Found this listed in the StrobePro catalog and ordered it. Replacing the broken tube and fixing this in place was quite easy, and now my flash is up and running once again.
