Our ever popular Big C Stand was modelled after the most typical kind of C stand you'd find with major production crews. But as C stands gained popularity outside of big Hollywood sets, it became obvious to us that the de facto industry standard may not be exactly what you would call optimized for solo operators. So we grabbed a Big C Stand and shaved a few inches from the risers and boom: too little off the top to make a difference for most users, but just enough for the main column to fit in a standard trunk space. Finally, a C stand for the family sedan! The Strobepro Traveller C Stand is the Goldilocks size for those of us who don't have a big equipment trailer and a full complement of crew.

Fits In your Trunk
As mentioned, we sought to make the column small enough to be hauled in the trunk of a car. We used the humble trunk space of a Kia Soul to check our measurements!

With a working height of 49 inches to 8.5 feet (plus the boom), you should be covered for 99% of your needs in the studio or on location.
Solid as a Rock
One of the main reasons you go for a C stand! Strobepro C stands have full stainless steel construction. They're sturdy, weighty, and built to take a beating.
Multi-Use Boom with Flat-side Spigots
Our C stands come with two grip heads and a boom in case you need to get something overhead! The spigoted ends have flats that are meant to line up with your mounting screw and prevent unwanted twisting. You'll also find a 1/4" thread on one end of the boom and a 3/8" thread on the other as additional mounting options.
Removable, Nestable Turtle Base
The included turtle base is removable and collapsible. Turtle bases have legs of varying heights allowing you to nest multiple C stands together. Whether you need a complex lighting setup on limited floor space, or you just want to quickly tuck your stands into a corner—it's hard to go back.
Add Optional Wheels
Add the Mini Roller II wheelbase or the C Stand Wheel Set and your C stand becomes instantly rollable.
Repurpose Your Turtle Base
Consider purchasing a Junior to Baby Pin Adapter for those times you might need to mount something just above the ground.
