The 433MHz signal used by this controller/receiver combo boasts improved reliability over long distances and in busy radio environments such as arenas, concert halls, and large hotels. While Godox's mainstay controllers are plenty reliable, the FT433 provides extra assurance to photographers who shoot sports, concerts, and other events in more commercial settings.
Just like Godox's X-series 2.4GHz controller, the FT433 supports TTL, HSS, and up to 5 flash groups. The core experience you know and love with your existing controllers is no different here.
Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary-based service centre with our industry-leading support.
The FT433 uses the same interface as the XProII radio controller. Users of that system will feel right at home. Check out our complete video guide here.
Is the folding antenna and the extra bit peeking over the top of your strobe a little ugly? Perhaps. But you can't argue with the results! If triggering reliability has been a persistent issue in your work, the FT433 is the one to consider.
The FT433 is not natively compatible with existing strobes, so the FR433 receiver is a necessary component. You can purchase additional receivers here.
The receiver is currently compatible with the AD200 Pro II, AD600BM II, and AD600 Pro II. It is expected that additional upcoming releases within Godox's refresh of its strobe lineup will also be compatible.
