Godox XPROII-S Radio Trigger Controller - Sony

12 reviews

Godox's New Top of the Line Controller for 2023

Not sure which controller to get? The XPROII is the newest option and best choice for the majority of users. The large, upward-tilted display with dedicated buttons makes managing your flash groups easy.  If you need a pass-through hotshoe, go for the X2T-S instead.

What's Different From Version 1?

  • Improved compatibility for mirrorless cameras
  • Backlit Buttons
  • New flip lock mounting mechanism
  • Save user setting to 5 different memory slots for recall later
  • New individual modelling lamp control (adjust the modelling lamp of each light separately in Proportional and Percentage)
  • Update firmware through USB-C on PC or Mac with Godox V3 utility
  • Channel scan function (scan your location for the least amount of interference)
  • New Sekonic L-858 integration (fire your lights from your Sekonic L858 meter)
  • Improved TCM function (Convert TTL flash exposures to manual power settings, now with more Godox strobes supported)
  • New menu interface

The Best Controller System on the Market

Godox has been leading the wireless remote game for years now.  It is simply the easiest and most reliable triggering system on the market.  One controller works on all Godox X series lights.  From your XPROII remote you'll be able to control speedlites, battery strobes and studio strobes quickly and easily.  Just match the channel and group and you're good to go.

Control Manual, TTL, Multi and High Speed Sync

Easily switch between the different modes of your light.  Choose Manual mode to be in full control, or choose TTL to let your camera take over. Enable multi-mode, disable flash groups, or shoot at up to 1/8000 s in HSS mode.  This controller does it all!

*Please note not all Godox lights are TTL, Multi and HSS compatible.

Bluetooth Compatibility

With the addition of Bluetooth, the XPROII can now interface with the Godox Flash App.  Connect the XPROII to your smartphone and get full control over your flashes directly from your phone.  You can even use your phone as the camera and fire your lights (your mileage may vary depending on your exact model of smartphone).

        The wait is over!

Finally! The convenience of the XPRO with channel scanning capabilities of the XT remotes. Your likelihood of misfires are gone. Shot about 5k plus images so far, and I can count the times my flashes misfired. Worth the cost!

Great redesign on an already fantastic product

Excited to get the new version of this Godox flash transmitter. It works wonderfully and love the new hot shoe click to tighten vs the old screw to tighten. As always the customer service buying with StrobePro is outstanding and well beyond the competition.

        WHat a Great Item

I haven't used the item yet. But if I had, I would give it an appropriate review.

        Godox XPROll-N

This works brilliantly to connect with the Sekonic L-858D (godox transmitter). Power adjustments are now available through the meter (at subject) or through the XPROll-N at the camera.

        A Worthwhile Upgrade

I shoot events (concerts / nightclubs) where I run up to 7 strobes at a time, and am loving the small conveniences of the version two. Among my favourite upgrades are the backlit buttons, double tapping the side group buttons to toggle groups on & off, the scan feature to find the channels with least interference, improved battery cover lock, and the simple hotshoe lock. Small quality of life improvements that make working with the XPro more enjoyable. There are tons of features I’ll never use, like Bluetooth and app connectivity, though for some people it may be handy. Loved my XPro V1 dearly, and this is an improvement in every area. Worth the cost of upgrading for my use case.
