This is an old school umbrella with very poor quality for the price. All my umbrellas have fibreglass rods which can take quite the beating. This one on the other hand has the weak cheap aluminum rods and with the first accidental tipping of the light there goes $40.00 plus. The only reason I bought it is so that I had some umbrellas that the rod diameter would fit into the strobe pro lights. Am I satisfied with the quality in 2021, the answer is no.

I purchased the 40" white translucent 2 in 1 umbrella from Strobepro. Prior to my purchase I exchanged email correspondence with staff at Strobepro. I found the staff to be very pleasant, professional, and helpful in responding to my questions. The umbrella was delivered to my home very quickly (3 days) even though I live in the province of Manitoba. The umbrella is well made with quality materials and is very versatile by being useable as either a shoot-thru or a reflective umbrella. I would highly recommend this umbrella as well as Strobepro for any of your photographic lighting needs.

I used this for the first time today. It worked well as expected. Easy to set up and a good, albiet somewhat smaller version of a similar product which fell over in a breeze outdoors.

Recently I broke both of my umbrellas when shooting outside when we temporarily remove sandbags. I love these things. They are sturdy and work well. I had to replace mine so I received them and same quality. At least the old ones saved me $800 on having to replace my AD200's so im happy. Thank You Strobe Pro

It did what I needed it to do, a simple and easy way to diffuse my speedlites. Used it for my new baby's photoshoot and even in a few video interviews with a continuous LED light.

Very good it folds down into a nice small package and gives a nice soft light. Used it for both shoot through as well as bounce. Useful and easy to work with. With the cover on feathering the light was simplicity. Like it and look forward to purchasing more modifiers from you.

Bought these as I do group photos quite often. I have the 4x3 softboxes as well and couldnt afford to get these when i bought the lighting kit. So i got them to round out my gear set for the types of jobs i do. great quality. Can bounce or shoot through as needed. Thanks for the great products strobepro

have used them once and liked the light it projected. a little leary taking the black fabric off because i have tried a couple of times to twist the nib off at the end and it appears to be on every well...
Hi Rob, Don't twist the end. It just pulls out a little and then stays attached to the fabric. They are sewn on.
