The thing I appreciate most about this kit is that they sold me what I needed, not what I thought I wanted. I went in thinking I wanted a different set up that would've cost me a lot more money, but when I explained the potential use, they suggested this better alternative. A great way to retain a customer is to make them understand that you are trying to help them do a better job with the tools you sell rather than just trying to maximize profits at every corner.

I just loved using this! Perfect for the mobile studio. Taking portraits outside of your own Workshop has never been easier. It's lightweight, easy to setup and awesome for outdoor shoots as well.

Everything sets up quickly, is sturdy and is super easy to pack up and carry to the next location. Just wish it had cam style levers instead of threaded knobs.

Awesome! Theyre sweet for the price, be careful though, I love to tighten the crap out of things just to be safe and snapped the metal of one of my stands the first night. That coulda been a defect in mine or user error (probably user error) But theyve been sweet and would recommend them to anyone!

Stands were good for the price. The triple plastic mount could not hold bigger umbrellas. Overall good value for the price for a nice little home studio umbrella setup.

This is a case of getting what you pay for. It is hard to deny that this kit is a reasonable price, and fairly light/compact at the end of the day.
However, it is not robust equipment and lacks some flexibility. One of my stands had malfunctioning clamps, and the top two cracked while tightening, even before the sections were being held firmly in-place. StrobePro replaced the part, though somewhat begrudgingly. The height of the stands is sufficient for the type of kit, and certainly they are not stable enough to go any higher.
The mounts are a tricky option. Unless you really want to gang your speedlights, I suggest going with the single metal swivel. I paid extra for the triple metal, which doesn't feel well made and uses a ball clamp that does not feel very secure. I am not confident they will support a larger accessory (i.e. softbox), but seem to be fine with the mid-size umbrellas.
The umbrellas are of decent quality, but I would like the option to select transparent (shoot-through) or convertible umbrellas. I ended-up buying two extra shoot-throughs and will not likely much use out of the ones that came with the kit.
Again, not bad for the price, but I was a bit disappointed when the kit arrived at my house.

This kit is perfect for my needs. As an entry photographer, I cant afford the brand name gear, but this is just as good! the metal brackets are really strong.

These portable flash stands and umbrellas are fantastic. Work great in studio or on location, just what I needed to get the perfect light setup!

I ordered these on a Tuesday night, and received them by Friday afternoon. The quality of the product is great, I used the whole kit that very weekend shooting my first wedding and I had no issues with anything out of the box. The stands are well built and sturdy, and the umbrellas seem well made - all for a really great price.
Most importantly customer service with Strobepro is amazing. I put special instructions on my order, and received a phone call the next day, my request was accommodated well above my expectations, and it caused no delay in my shipment arriving.
My only complaint is that these guys don't sell more stuff, I would buy all my camera gear from them if I could, price + service, winning combination.
