  • Godox XT-16 Radio Trigger Controller - All Cameras

    Remote Strobe Firing

The Godox XT-16 enables remote triggering and power control on Godox X series equipped strobes. If your godox strobe has a built in receiver then no external receiver is necessary. No worries if you have an older strobe.  We include the XTR-16 for free which plugs into the trigger port.

    Works With Any Camera

The XT-16 is not camera specific.  This means it will work on any camera with a standard hotshoe.

Godox XT16 transmitter and XTR16 reciever

These two items are old technology that stem from the days when Godox did not build receivers into their flash units. They are compatible with the long discontinued Godox Witstro 180 / 360 bare bulb flash units. The receiver plugs into the USB port on the flash units and the transmitter fits on the camera's hot shoe.

These are "dumb" units that require the camera to be set on manual (just like when using studio flash) and fit on any make of camera. The technology is basic, but it works well. The channel is set using a DIP switch and the zone is set using a rotary dial.

I primarily bought these as backups to my existing triggers and receivers, in case they ever broke or got lost. At the current clearance price, the costs are very competitive. The old Witstros are a bit underpowered (I suspect that the stated 360 W-s on the Witstro 360 is a bit optimistic), but the true bare-bulb approach creates some beautiful light.

    Amazing unhurried service

Easy once I found the tiny door hiding the jack socket. Didn't work with my Canon hot shoe flash (off camera) at first until I changed the batteries of the flash so try that if things don't kick off properly.
