Strobepro Colour Effect Gel Kit

The Strobepro Colour Effect Gel Kit is just what I needed to give my work pop and drama. Highly recommended!

top notch thick gels that are relatively heat resistant, second time ordering these. Just wish the zip up bag they come in wasn't so tight, they get to be hard to pack after some use.

I've bought a few things from Strobepro now, and the recurring thing is how high quality everything is. These gels are no different. I had a set of generic gels and they weren't exactly fantastic. These however are a decent thickness, I don't worry about them tearing or easily getting mangled in my bag. That brings me onto the next point, they come in their own little bag, which in itself is pretty good quality! I like how the bag is printed with what the bag is for too. Just the small details like that make it that little bit nicer.

Good range of colors for color effect gels.

These are a bit thicker than the rosco/lee gels. Not as easy to wrap around a strobe bulb but better over reflectors if you are using a fan!

These Gels are very high quality and durable. Easy to maintain and nice colors.

This gel kit offers a good variety of colours and the gels are thick enough to last a long time.

Good mix of colors

I just started experimenting with gels in portrait lighting.
The kit is great, priced fairly. I love the fabric case idea.
One problem with it - it is too tight - not wide enough to insert the gels without risking to bend/crease them. I still do that, but would prefer the zipper opening to be wider (longer zipper going around the corners would work great).
And, of course, can't be happier with the customer service!

This purchase was an impulse purchase and compliments my interest to add colour to a scene. In the past, have acquired some gels but the pleasant surprise with this "lit" was the quality of the material. Some of the earlier gels were more flimsy than the stuff you wrap your sandwiches in and prone to creasing. To top if off, these gels come in an "envelope" made of solid material offering substantial protection for storage and transportation. I shouldn't have said surprised because this product is just another sample of the quality synonymous with Strobepro.

Excellent quality. Thicker than I thought they would be. Work well. I am using them with the Strobepro background reflector. Very happy with the results.

I’ve used a number of gels by different manufactures and these were slightly thicker than most and a good price.
