I have been re-building/rethinking my studio (actually home studio) needs with the idea of rapid set-up and positioning of my equipment in the forefront . . . which explains why I have a small (but effective) studio stand living in my living room (I shoot product and food, starting to go back to some portraiture again).
I wanted a support for a main light, which had to be on a small(ish) boom, and movable in a flash, so I bought a 30" Avenger single riser and needed a collapsible wheel base. Not much on the market . . . couple of M'frottos, Kupo and the usual from China.
I am a relatively new customer to Strobepro, having bought some cases and a couple of modifiers and to date having been impressed with the quality of their offerings. I saw this and the price is exceptionally good . . . add in the free shipping . . . WOW!. This didn't disappoint.
It is extremely well finished. No rough points whatsoever. the wheels are very high quality, so no fear of premature bearing failure or any other annoying problem. Brakes work well with just a tap of the toe. The folding mechanism is well done, though a bit tricky. The springs are stiff, which they need to be, and the pin has to be pulled fairly evenly outwards when releasing the legs . . . okay, but I have "grip" problems sometimes, so it is not always easy (note that the problem is ME, not the base).
The idea, or impression (maybe) of portability because it folds is a bit humorous. Yes, it folds, but it is still bulky, though when it is folded it does sit upright and stays upright, and out of the way . . . YAY!
All in all, I am very pleased and impressed with this, and very happy that I bought it. Will probably pick up one more in the months to come.
As an aside . . . I have been a commercial shooter for over forty years. The last decade, with severe health problems, curtailed my career, but I still fought on and want to continue, albeit in a far more limited capacity. That said, I am used to, and still use, top of the line equipment. Show me two comparable pieces of equipment, one costing $$ and the other "name" brand costing ten times $$ . . . I won't hesitate for a second to spend the "ten times" . . . I understand more than anything else what a quality piece of design can do for my productivity, SO, when Strobepro starts offering gear that is commensurate in concept and apparently quality . . . I pay attention to what they offer. So far, I have not been disappointed.

Don't let the word mini get you discouraged. Yes, it is mini in size, but it is a beautiful heavy duty roller stand. It is built solid, and is at the top for quality. I will definitely be buying a few more of these!

I love this stand. It is super low profile, which is exactly what I needed for my background lights. It is built like a tank and rolls perfectly smooth. The price is well worth it. I'm thinking of buying another one and getting a stand attachment for it.

On first try, they don't seem to fit either of my standard C-Stands. Jury still out, but not looking good.

This roller stand is really well build, its heavy, and rolls smoothly. Been using it on location where we need to move between different areas. Before I was just lifting my c stand and carrying, this is way more efficient and professional looking. The only issue For me personally is that its just A few cms too long To wheel straight through a standard door way, you can somewhat easily turn and spin it through, but would be perfect if it would fit.

I love this thing. I had so much trouble moving around my c stands when they a weighted down with lights or go bo's. I don't have to lift it up any more. Very well built. Feels like something Mathews Equipment would make. I want more of these too. Top notch, well made. Will outlast me. I am a professional photographer for 30 years. I am updating all my equipment. I am buying most of my stuff here.

This is an exceptiona l product at a decent price. Rugged, stable, and true to the videos took my c stand riser with no issue. It also supported my Kupo baby boom , lights and modifier without even breaking into sweat. Since I'm usually packing a portable rolling studio into NYC SEVERAL TIMES a month the portability of this product is amazing. I would enthusiastically tell anyone to purchase this product.
