Will only fit Strobepro C Stands! When we filmed our video, we suggested that there would be a wider range of compatibility for these wheels. Due to other manufacturers changing their turtle base leg diameter and angle we no long suggest these wheels for other brands. Both the leg diameter and angle need to match for these wheels to work properly. If your base hits the floor at a different angle, your wheels' rotational axis will not sit parallel and you will have a bumpy ride!
**The 25mm size has been discontinued because of similar compatibility issues.**
For a universal option, check out our Mini Roller II.
Our Big C Stand weighs 25 lbs, and that's before anything goes on it! Life is better with wheels when you're dealing with heavy strobes and modifiers.
Just place over the light stand leg and tighten down the thumbscrew. Easy.
Full metal construction with smooth-rolling urethane wheels. You also have foot brakes on each wheel to lock the position in place
-3 x 30mm C Stand Wheel
-3 x Metal Wheel Spacer
Customers praised these wheel sets as "sturdy" and easy to install, taking just minutes to attach. They make moving heavy equipment "so much easier" in studio spaces. Most found them a "game changer" for mobility and convenience. Some concerns: compatibility issues if stands aren't measured correctly, and detachable shims can be lost during assembly.
I am a studio photographer that works without the help of an assistant. The wheels installed quickly and securely, they have made moving my light stands around the studio so much more convenient. For the price I highly recommend them.
Love being able to roll around this big c stand! Only wish the flat edges that pinch to the feet were a part of the wheel itself and not detached and possibly lost when assembling and de assembling.
I love having heavier equipment on wheels. I would - and probably will - buy more.
It would be massively more convenient if these were all one piece though. In their current iteration the shims inside the casters will come off when not attached to a stand. Its a pain to look after little pieces like that.
One note on sizing: dont be a goof and miss-measure like I did! At first I measured the base of my C Stand legs. This gave me an oval measurement which would imply that these casters would not fit. If its not immediately obvious why thats a problem Ive attached an illustration documenting my mistake.
Being able to roll around your big c will change your life for the better! Absolutely love them. There is only 1 poor thing about the design. There are pins that you have to slide in for the knows to press against to hold them on. It would be much better if they were permanent so you don't loose them.
I was a bit unsure of these but they are great. It's definitely nice to easily move my c-stands around, instead of constantly having to pick them up. It saves time and energy from taking the sandbag off, moving the stand, putting the sand bag back on, or trying to move the stand with the sandbag on it. I bought several of these and they easily fit my Matthews C-Stands. I definitely recommend, the quality is great, especially since there really aren't any other companies making these for c-stands. If you're thinking of buying some, just buy them, you won't regret it.
I work in small space. These wheels help. An added advantage they raise the height of my mini-c-stand. Very well made.
Just what I needed to mobilize my cstands. Thank you!!
These are very sturdy and easy to install. Makes it so much easier adjusting light placement in studio.
These are a game changer! Set them and roll wherever your next job takes you
I keep my C-stands in a hallway with the sand bags on them so they are awkward to carry into my small studio when needed. The wheels went on easily and make set up much more fluid.
As always great service!
Fit perfectly to my C-Stand and took 2 minutes to install. Very happy with the product. Now my stands with light, modifier and sand bag move with ease.
SO glad I finally purchased wheels for my c-stand. Should have done this a while ago. Much more convenient in studio. Strobe Pro is my go-to for all my studio needs.
This product didn’t fit my lightstand. However, I’m counting on the continuation of the great customer service I’ve always had from StrobePro as I prepare to return the product.
Easy to install with each wheel having a locking mechanism for extra safety
Highest quality and STURDY. Wheels are a very helpful accessory.
So far, I love it. Feels really well built and like quality. I really don’t like how expensive the shipping is though, especially within Canada. As a mental trick it may be more beneficial to include a flat shipping fee into your pricing model. It seems likely to me that you may be losing sales over shipping rates.
I measured the legs of my c stand and thought these would fit but they are too big. I understand the theory of them and technically they would be great, but they didn't work out for me this time. It might help if Strobepro had more info on measuring on the product page since I clearly did it incorrectly. I ordered these online and don't want to go through the process of a return so will probably hold onto them for now.
No problem! Everything perfect…as usual!
Thanks Strobepro.
I read STROBEPRO C STANDS ONLY, but this is only 30mm wheels I could find....would this fit matthew's c stands?
It will fit but we can't guarantee the angle of the Matthews turtle base legs. Some are the correct angle and others are not. That is why we say Strobepro only. You're welcome to take a chance but we the shipping is not paid for on returns. Thanks
Will this fit a Matthews Century C+ Stand with Turtle Base and Grip Arm Kit with the turtle base?
Matthews makes a number of different stands. You just need to measure the leg diameter to confirm. If it is 27mm-29mm then go with the 30mm wheels. If it is 23mm-24mm then go with the 25mm wheels.
Thanks
When do you expect your 30mm casters will be back in stock? It has been forever. 😉
Our next shipment will be here in November. Please be sure to add you email to the notify me box on the product page so you are notified as soon as they arrive.
Thanks
When do you estimate these will be available?
We expect our shipment to arrive in late October.
Thanks
Will they fit on a Savage C-Stand with the 3rd adjustable leg? The diameter on the adjustable leg is slightly bigger than the other two turtle legs.
We haven't tried them personally on that stand. Do you have the actual measurement?
Thanks
