I already have a Lastolite single pivot umbrella mount but I bought this to have a second. It's amazing how much more versatile having a second pivot point is. This allows for much better umbrella/ speedlight positioning than the single pivot can offer. What an excellent improvement to a simple device.

Appears to be well made and sturdy and easily fits neatly and quickly on my light stand. It will hold a speedlite as well of course as an umbrella. The multiple joints make for a variety of configurations and the ARCA-Swiss type attachment on the head for speedlites are a real bonus. Well worth the modest price.
