10' Air Cushion Light Stand

I love having the ability to move the spigot from vertical to horizontal. The air cushion is very nice and maybe not near as smooth as a Manfrotto, but at half the cost this is a fine stand.

It was really great to have it

For the first year this 10' light stand was great. But then one of the air mechanisms inside seized, preventing me from being able to adjust the height, rendering it useless. I'm all for affordable lighting gear, but a lightstand should last.

Great stand, does the job! Small and easy for on location shoots

I bought this stand to hold a new AD600 pro. It seems to be a robust unit. I've been using it in outdoor winter conditions so far and it has been doing exactly what I need it to do. If/when I buy another AD600, I might go for a stand that allows variable leg lengths, but if you are going to be in a studio setting or elsewhere where you can reasonably predict access to flat ground, this stand is great!

I have recently purchased an AD600 Pro and the stands that have been sufficient for my AD300 Pro and speedlites were not heavy enough for the 600. This stand is much better and is a good price!

Compact, sturdy, and easy to operate

I recently purchased an 8x8 portable background with 2-10' air cushioned light stands. I love that they are a Canadian business and my overall experience as great. I intend to buy more photography equipment from them for my studio.

These are excellent and very well made stands. I am particularly impressed by the knobs, which are well made and easy to grip. The height is perfect for my needs and it will definitely last a lifetime due to its construction. If I had to make any criticism, the air cushion is not as strong as some stands that I own. This makes it faster to close up, but I will take care if a flash head is still attached.

These stands have superior quality. They are solidly built and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of this gear.

I was surprised by the quality and ruggedness fo these stands when I got them. I bought two. These are as stable and strong compared to some of the more expensive brands. You get bang for your buck.

This is a solid piece of gear, it takes a 47 inch octabox and strobe head with ease. The stand is sturdy, opens and closes smoothly, and collapsed is fairly compact, so it fits easily in the stand bag. The air cushion feature only adds to the confidence inspired by this stand. Another thing I like is that it allows horizontal as well as vertical mounting. It does what I need it to do, without any fuss. Overall a good, stable stand at a reasonable price. That's all...

Although much heavier and bulkier, these stands inspire much more confidence than my previous light weights.

It seems like a great stand with a large foot print for stability. The sectional connections are sturdy metal as described. I have just put my strobe on the stand and it is very secure. I'm not at all worried about tipping.

I'm really impressed by this ligth stand it is really well designed and very solid. It is made entirely of aluminuml and the knobs are in very strong plastic
with metal inserts. The air cushion works perfectly. The metal spigot has a flat side which is great and it is very well made. I bought three light stand.

Just used this on a shoot with an AD600 Pro and a 32in by 32 in foldable softbox. Really well built stand and the air cushion feature is great with a heavy load! Planning on getting another of these plus a smaller model as I'd like one with a lower minimum height.
