The Universal Standard

The universal standard in soft box sizing. If you're just getting into studio lighting, this is the size you need.

Size

24"x36" (60cm x 90cm)

2 Second Setup

Have you ever tried to assemble a soft box? If you have you know that it can be a slow frustrating process. Strobepro's line of Professional Folding Softboxs and Octaboxs set up in 2 seconds flat!

Time is Money

Time is money and once you set up one of our Professional Umbrella softboxes you'll never go back! Spend time shooting not fumbling with poles and speedrings.

Optional Grids

Add even more control with the addition of a fabric honeycomb grid that Velcro's right in.

Why Use a Rectangle Softbox?

Perfect tool for creating highly controlled rim lighting for portrait and fashion shots. For full length shots they emphasize shape and  in glamour shots they create natural looking 'window' catch lights.  Also ideal as the overhead fill light in product shots.

Fitted with both an inner and an outer diffuser, both of which can be removed if required, this soft box can produce both soft lighting and a much harder, specular light. It takes only seconds to remove or replace the diffusers.

Fit

All sizes include the inner diffuser, carrying case and your choice of rotating speed ring (Bowens is standard and fits all STROBEPRO strobe heads)

Included

  • Softbox
  • Inner Diffuser
  • Outer Diffuser
  • Strobepro/ Bowens Speedring

Great modifier

Gorgeous light, it was much lighter than I expected which my assistant loves.

Room for gear

Fantastic bag, holds most of what I need to go on location. Clearly background stands and material would be too much for this bag, but it does hold soft boxes, light modifiers like barn doors, reflectors and snoot, plus strobes and such. Great quality, and with the wheels easy to maneuver around.

Two of the best purchases I've made

I recently purchased two 24 X 36 Rapid Pro Softboxes to replace non-rapid pro models. What a difference!!! The ease of set up was absolutely amazing. I could not ask for anything faster or more convenient. Would I buy again No question!! You should have one or two of these in your set up!!

This Soft Box provides great even light when used with a bare bulb type flash.

The construction of the unit is good having the inside as silver material with an inner and outer diffuser to provide as much even light as possible. It comes with a very nice carrying case which is of heavy material with handles. It is easy to put together and can be done quite quickly. The grid which is sold separately is a good addition to control the direction of light. The unit is very light and for my configuration using the Strobepro/Bowens speedrings is easy to attach. Compared to using speedlites with shoot through umbrellas the softbox with bare bulb flash unit provides a very nice even light across the subject with very little or no hot spots compared to the speedlite/umbrella combo. As far as build quality, for now it seams to be quite good, as I have only been using this softbox for a short period of time, I will have to wait and see how it lasts (the reason for my 4 stars) I would recommend this softbox to anyone who is shooting waist up Portraits with 1 to 2 people.

Very good experience

I came in there and had a ton of dumb questions and your staff was very helpful and gracious. The first person to help wasn't even a salesman, he was an instructor and as a result was helpful because I wanted also to talk about light quality which seemed to be his specialty. Thanks again.
