The Strobepro C Stand SE (Special Edition) is identical to our trusted Big C Stand, but with a black powder coat. This is a great option for anyone concerned with small reflections from the chrome surface of a traditional C Stand. And, well, it looks awesome too!

Admit it. You've always wanted a C stand but the price has been out of reach. Not any more. Our C stands are cost-effective and every bit as pro as stands that cost three times as much.
Solid as a Rock
The C Stand SE means business. Solid stainless steel construction.
The beauty of this C stand is that you can use it as a regular stand or a boom
C stands are meant to be heavy but you still need to transport them from time to time. Our C stands can detach their legs in seconds making it much more portable than a traditional C stand.
These Monster C Stands were Better Than I Could Have Hoped For!
These are incredible C Stands. What I didn’t realize is that they have internal springs, so that if you are lowering a section and your hand slips, they don’t slam down but have a cushioned landing. Like all Strobepro gear, the top stand section has a flat spot ground into the spigot so that when you tighten something on, it can’t spin. That is so important that I can’t figure out why no one else does it. These stands are incredibly robust. I just shot a Gallery for a major streaming platform and needed stands to hold up a 12 foot wide 100’ roll of seamless. These stands were perfect; there was no need for Mambo’s. That makes it a much easier proposition for me with transportation and weight. I really couldn’t be happier with these stands… well, maybe if they came with a Rocky Mountain leg, but then I couldn’t remove the post and use them as a low boy… so I guess they are perfect!
Very durable well-built c stand. The threaded ends on arms are handy. The only negative is they are a little heavier than a standard stand which is no problem in the studio but on location they’re a little bulky. The only other feature missing is it’s not a Rocky Mountain leg. All in all for the price they are well worth it and very well-built.
