Godox designed this panel with e-sports enthusiasts in mind, but really, any streamer or vlogger can appreciate the nice touches brought to this light. With its built-in diffuser, clever control panel, and included desk mount, the ES45 will seamlessly integrate with any streaming setup!
The control panel can remain docked on the light, or moved within easy reach on your desk. If you use any kind of control board to manage your stream, the all-black tactile dials on the ES45 panel will look right at home with it.
Alternatively, manage your ES45 via Bluetooth from a phone or tablet and the Godox Light app! This is ideal if your ES45 will work in tandem with other Godox lights.
The ES45 is thin and sleek, with a brushed-aluminum finish on the back. If your lights are ever in frame, they'll be looking their best!
This is still a small panel we're talking about here, but the built-in diffuser helps to get rid of some of that harsh secularity. In addition rendering beautiful light, the ES45 easier on the eyes than an uncovered panel.
No need to purchase extra hardware for your light. The ES45 comes with everything you need to get your light in place and start streaming,

The LED light has been performing well. I had trouble dealing with the high light output as it gave me many shadows on my face. I was able to come up with a part solution by shinning it off a well.
It's a pretty solid light, nice and bright. If you're in a dark space, you may still need some auto correction on your camera. If your desk is against a wall, placing the light on the ball head is tricky to do. Watch the video strobe-pro provides, the person notes the special part about attaching it. If you can get behind your desk, it's not quite as difficult, because you could just rotate the panel. The 'battery' is on the panel, not on the main lamp, afaik. So this would not work with remote scenario, unless you have portable power. So not like other portable godox led lights. The wireless controller I feel, has a bit of lag/disconnect with the light. You can turn the dials, but they don't always adjust the light. I think there's a small 'wake-up' moment.
I went to the Strobepro retail store in Calgary looking for a ring light but walked out with something much better. I met Tracy in the showroom, and after some questions about what I was planning on doing with the lights he suggested that rather than using a ring light, I would get better results with the Godox ES45 Bi-Colour LED Light Kit. His advice was spot on! One of the challenges for me is that I wear glasses so a ring light was going to be problematic with glare and reflections. The ES54 solves this problem as it comes with a mount that allows you to clamp it to a table or desk and then telescope it up to a max of about three feet. This solved the glare issue. Another great feature of this light is how bright it is. I'm in a smaller space where I use them but I don't think you would have any issues using this in a variety of applications in a large space as well. The light is fully adjustable for brightness and colour temperature which I found easy to use and accurate. My favorite feature of the light however is the detachable control modal. I bought two of these lights and the control module allows you to lock the lights together and use a single control module for both or you can have them on different channels for individual control. This is a huge time saver as can sit at my desk and dial in my settings while looking at my live camera image. If you are looking for an affordable and versatile LED lighting panel the Godox ES45 is a great choice.

Easy to use and setup, great diffusion so it's easy on the eyes, and I love the little remote, it's so convenient and goes back on the light to charge! Simple!
