Safety Track
With a single transmitter/mic connected, you can configure one audio channel to record at -5dB, giving you a bit more headroom before audio clips.
Unique Track Recording
With both transmitters paired to the receiver, one records to the left channel and the other to the right channel, allowing you to treat your audio sources independently in post production.
Small and Unobtrusive
The Magic XT1 transmitters are so tiny that they are only marginally more noticeable than a traditional lavalier microphone. When you want to hide your mics completely, we doubt you'll hold a vigil for the missing wires. Your mics are also somewhat recessed into the casings of the transmitter bodies, which makes them less prone to friction noise than traditional lavs.
USB-C Charging
The XT1 transmitter is conveniently charged via a USB-C port, giving you plenty of flexibility with powering options. Charging the receiver from empty to full takes about 2.5 hours.
Long Lasting Batteries
The transmitter units have an 8-hour runtime, and can be charged from empty to full on the receiver's docking ports in around 2 hours. If it's not feeding power to the transmitters, the receiver can run for approximately 16 hours. Fully charging both transmitters only costs the receiver around 6-7% of its battery capacity.
Huge Transmission Range
Unobstructed, the transmitters can communicate with the receiver from up to 200 metres away. Mileage may vary when intervening objects are present.
OLED Touchscreen
The receiver's touchscreen interface is pleasant to use and easily visible in any lighting conditions thanks to the high contrast OLED display.
Dynamic Noise Reduction
The transmitters have a toggle button for dynamic noise reduction. A great option to have, particularly for live events.
Onboard monitoring
The receiver has an 3.5mm monitoring port in case your recording device doesn't have one. Audio monitoring is particularly important with any wireless system, so this is a must!
Broad Compatibility
Whether recording to your camera or your smartphone, this kit has you covered. It includes a standard double ended 3.5mm stereo cable, as well as cables for USB-C and Lightning connections.
