    Excellent Charger

    It is smaller than the orginal charger that came with the D780 so more space effecient. Just drop the battery into the charger to see how much charge is in the battery so it does not need to be put in the camera to see the charge level. Charging is fast and it does come with a cord to use it in the car. Overall an excellent product.

    I'm looking at your EN-EL15 battery charger. I live in Calgary and I like to leave my camera in my vehicle.. just in case. However, in the winter the cold drains the battery. Is it safe to leave the battery in the charger 24/7, in the car, so that the battery is always fully charged and not affected by the cold?

    I wouldn't say it's a great idea because the heat generated from the charge is not going to be enough to combat our -20 degree Celsius temperatures.
