  • Strobepro Deluxe Sandbag - Unfilled

    The Sandbag 2.0

We took the standard sandbag and added slots for water bottles in addition to sand for extra weight. We also beefed up the handle and added a nice carabiner.

    Solid Construction

Reinforced stitching in the handle and the sliding D-ring with carabiner make placing this bag on your stand or boom really convenient.

    Filling Sandbags

We ship sandbags empty because they cost so much to ship.  Grab a $5 bag of play sand at Home Depot and a couple of Ziplock Freezer bags to fill up.  This keeps everything clean if the bags happen to be out in the pouring rain.

    Note

Sandbags ship empty. Water bottles are not included.

    Clever design, well built

Pleased with these so far. I will say that it’ll take 4 full bottles to get any reasonalbe counterweight. 2 to 3 bottles just insn’t heavey enough. There are pouches to add sand, but the main attraction for me is for these bags to be as light and transportable as possible and then add weight at my location, so I’m more inclinded to leave them empty.
