• Strobepro Dual Pistol Grip Roller Stand

    062500

    High and Low

The Strobepro Dual Pistol Grip Roller Stand allows you to move your payload anywhere on the column quickly and easily! If you need a rock-solid stand with a wide variety of workable heights and the ability to roll it around the studio, look no further.

    Easy Adjustments

The pistol grips make this such an easy stand to use. Squeeze to move, release to lock.

    Heavy Duty

As with all of our roller stands, this guy is made of solid stainless steel. It's ready for whatever you can throw at it!

    Our Classic Roller Base

If you've used our 8' High Roller or 4' Low Roller, this stand will feel right at home in your studio. The base is built for maximum stability, durability, and ease of movement.

    2 is Company

Similar stands will come with just a single pistol grip, but that seemed like a missed opportunity to us. The Strobepro comes with an additional grip for you to mount an light or accessory. You can mount a key and a kicker on a single stand without the need for additional mounting hardware!

    Use at Half-Height

The top riser section needs not be installed for every shoot! If you are working at low heights, you can leave the top section off. This is particularly helpful when using bounce umbrellas that need to be angled downward. Hey newborn photographers, we're thinking about you here!

    Packs Down Easily

Admittedly, the Dual Pistol Grip Roller Stand isn't quite as travel-friendly as some of our other options. However, it still packs down in under a minute and easily fits in any vehicle, With its convenient reverse-folding leg design and simple 2-piece riser, this stand is more than ready for your next road trip.

    Reversible Baby Pin/Standard Spigot

The unique spigot that ships with our pistol grips is a baby pin on one side, and a standard light stand spigot with a 1/4" thread on the other. As with all Strobepro spigots, a squared-off section is present on both sides to prevent unwanted rotation when the locking screw is in place.

    The Perfect Stand

Out of all the stands we looked at, this was the one we kept coming back to. It's a great heavy duty stand and the pistol grips make turning it from a standing shot to a seated shot in less than a minute. It works so well in our studio space for our staff to quickly set up to shoot by themselves.

    Love it!

I am a professor and I teach online courses. After a lot of research on light stands, I decided to buy this one. This stand is fantastic. I love it. The product videos on the Strobepro website are really useful. I am a petite women, and I set it up single handedly--it's really easy. I strongly recommend this stand. The pistol grips make the setup and recording very easy. If you are looking to set up a video recording studio, all on one stand, this is the one to get. Also, the customer service is excellent. I am really impressed with quality and design of this stand. Thank you, Strobepro.

    Life saver stands

These stands are such a game changer. 100% necessary for making your portrait setups cleaner and easier to manipulate. The pistol grips support more than enough weight and make adjustments a breeze. Don't think about it, just pick them up. You'll be happy you did!

    Love it!

    Almost perfect stand

The stand is well built and a terrific concept. The pistol grip works very well when raising or lowering the arms. The arm is rigid and prevents the arm from creeping down the column when the grip is released. Unfortunately, when the grip is released the arm will rotate with a small nudge causing the need to realign the camera. In summary, the grip arms work well verticall but not so horizontally.

    Camera and laptop mounting

This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm able to easily mount my tether table to hold my laptop and other accessories and mount a ballhead for my camera. The pistol grips allow me to easily move my camera up and down without removing it from the stand and the wheels allow me to easily move it around the studio.

    Exceptional Solution!

I have limited mobility and the pistol grip stand is the perfect solution for me. I have my camera mounted on the upper pistol grip and the Strobepro tether table mounted on the lower pistol grip. This allows me to either sit or stand while I am shooting and holds my camera in position for every shot. It is the perfect solution for anyone with mobility issues. Thank you, Strobepro.

    Awesome Product

My unit was well built however one of the arms was missing a spring. This made the arm unusable! I emailed customer service and they sent me one for free!

    Perfect stand for a studio

I bought this with 2 additional grip heads to use as a one-stand video studio. It's perfect for it. I have 2 lights, a camera with a monitor, and a boom mic attached. The large heavy base keeps everything balanced without the need for sand bags. Grips are easy and fast to adjust so I can quickly switch from standing to sitting footage. I can move this around the studio without having to move and set up again 4 separate tripods. Couldn't be happier with this.

Can the pistol grip be used to mount a camera so as to function as a camera stand in place of a tripod? You don’t show it that way in your videos but wondering whether it is possible to mount a ball head with some kind of adapter. Thanks, David

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

Hi David,Yes, we have lots of people that use it as a tripod. I would recommend this adapter with it. https://strobepro.com/products/tripod-head-spigot-adapterThanks

I need to adapt the STROBEPRO DUAL PISTOL GRIP ROLLER STAND to a space where its maximum height can only be 78 inches. Is there a shorter "top half" column that will replace the supplied top half to bring the height down to 78 inches or lower?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

Hi,There isn't a second shorter column but you could easily cut the top section to the height you need with a simple hack saw. It would not affect the performance at all and we have several others do this as well. Thanks

Will you sell pistol grip arms separately? And when will they be in stock. I could sure use one more.

This looks like a great stand! Just curious if the centre column can be removed and replaced with a C-Stand. I noticed that this can be done with the short roller stand. Just wondering if it's the same base.

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

With this stand the center column can't be removed like the Mini Roller II. It is a similar base but doesn't work the same way.
Thanks

do you have the fitting to mount a camera ball head on the pistol grip? would the set up safely hold a Canon 5D3 and a 70-200 f2.8? is there an extension to the pistol grip to make it longer?

    Strobepro Studio Lighting

Yes we sell the adapter here: https://strobepro.com/products/tripod-head-spigot-adapter
It will hold the camera without any issue. We don't currently have any extension for the pistol grip.
Thanks
