Tired of taping gel sheets all over your softobox?  The Strobepro Gel Holder for Rapid Snap Softboxes is the ultimate solution for neatly adding any gel to your softbox.  It pushes the maximum allowable light through the gel for full saturation on strobes and led lights. Just clip on the receiver, and easily switch out any colour gel with the magnetic gel holder. Works great with Strobepro Colour Effect Gel Sets and Strobepro Colour Correction Gel Sets.

Works with Rapid Snap Softboxes V2

This Gel Holder is designed to be used with the Strobepro Rapid Snap Softbox Series, Version 2.  If you can see the exposed softbox rods inside the softbox then you have Version 2. These softboxes have no inner cage to get in the way, making it easier to mount and clip to the rods.  The Gel Holder may fit other brands' softboxes that have no inner mechanism in the softbox, but we do not guarantee a fit.

Metal Construction

The vented Gel holder is made of metal and is designed to reduce heat by extending the gel 5" away from the bulb.

How To Attach

Attach the softbox to the light.  Attach the receiver springs to 4 available softbox rods.  Open the magnetic gel holder, place a gel and flip it closed.  Attach the magnetic holder to the receiver.

Safety Warning

No gel should ever be left unattended on a light due to risk of a fire.  Do not run strobe modelling lamps for extended periods with the gel attached.  Do not run incandescent continuous lights; use LED only.
