I tell all my photographer friends about the rapid snap boxes. After setting up ridiculous octoboxes and complicated softboxes, this design couldn't be any faster or easier. I love that I don't have to put the diffusers on every time! I used to set up complicated elinchrome Octoboxes when I was pregnant and that was the most annoying thing ever with the belly haha! This will change your world, especially if you set up on location regularly.
I work out of my home and I needed a way to mount my backdrops without putting a ton of holes in the wall. I would have loved to mount it from the ceiling, but with the popcorn ceiling it wasn't ideal. The autopole is such a better way too do it than lightstands which stick out way further and they can become a tripping hazard for my clients. With the power lifting shaft instead of the ones that come with the kit, my studio looks extra professional and I love not having to run back and forth to use a chain to lift and lower the paper. Awesome product!
Excellent set for creative shooting! The optical snoot from the STROBEPRO OPTICAL SNOOT II Kit is one of my favorite modifiers due to its unique functionality. It's an outstanding tool for light control, perfect for creative experiments and creating unique effects in photos
Great purchasing experience across international borders
These V-Flats are a blessing: I use them in my headshot studio as negative fills either side of the client. They have a significantly smaller footprint than the conventional versions, are well made, reasonably portable and just do the job! Delivery was fast and painless, price was right. Buy with confidence - excellent product and company.
Out of all the stands we looked at, this was the one we kept coming back to. It's a great heavy duty stand and the pistol grips make turning it from a standing shot to a seated shot in less than a minute. It works so well in our studio space for our staff to quickly set up to shoot by themselves.
Love these tubes, they are bright and produce beautiful light with no flicker. Have had these for a month now and have used them for more than just video. From a Christmas party to helping a friend's band jazz up their stage performance these get the job done. Long battery life, remote that controls all my other Godox lights, sturdy case (it's heavier then you expect packed up when you first pick it up) and everything you'd need for different mounting situations. Only downside is the power adapters and attached cables are a bit tricky to pack into the case and the case can be a bit combersome if you have a smaller vehicle. All in all it's an amazing kit that will give you many options for different scenes and scenarios. I highly recommend them. First time buying from Strobepro and was blown away with how fast they shipped it out, recieved it much sooner than I expected. Thanks guys!
Strobepro's large wheeled kit bag is absolutely fantastic. I do elementary school photography and I've been lugging my kit bag around from school to school for a couple years now. I'm rough with this thing but it still looks new apart from a couple scratches on the rubber rails (and that's what they're there for). We've been using the large wheeled kit bag to transport all our light heads but recently we made the decision to get additional kit bags so we can transport everything we need for a single station in one bag (apart from seamless paper). We now have 4 large wheeled kit bags (our 3 new bags just recently arrived) and I couldn't be more excited. It's FUN using the dividers to organize everything and get everything just how you want it.
In each bag we transport:
x4 light stands (9')
x2 parabolic umbrella's (38" folded)
x1 tripod (vanguard alta pro)
x2 light heads with cords
x1 dslr
x1 extension cord
x1 light meter
x1 small box for transmitters/receivers
and more - with lots of space left over!
You will not regret this purchase. I don't think there's a better bag on the market.
I have two Rapid snap soft box 32 x 47 I use them on almost every project.
I was shooting a commercial for a bank and one of the soft boxes had a small issue with it.
I contacted Strobepro and they took care of the issue immediately sent me a brand new unit and didn’t even ask for the old one back.
I’m a Toronto based DOP that’s been in the business for a lot of years, I’m very impressed with this customer service.
I am a Toronto based Director of photography. From the minute I received it I love this rapid snap product, no more fumbling with rods to build your modifier. It sets up in one minute, which really helps when you’ve have different locations in the same day to shoot. All the gaffers and grips and Cameraman who have seen me use this product all want to go out there and get one now after they see how simple it is to put this modifier together.
An optical snoot is something I had been considering for quite some time now, and having finally purchased this unit I shake my head wondering why I waited so long. In order to appreciate why I'm enjoying it so much, let me lay out the reasons why I ended up buying the unit from Strobe Pro:
- easy to quickly change the speed ring. I use Paul C Buff studio lights as well as Aputure video lights. I am thrilled with the performance of both, however they both require different mounts, and the thumbscrews on this unit make it VERY quick to flip back and forth should the situation call for doing so (and it has at this point).
- the 50mm lens. As far as I know there are no optical snoots that allow for the use of Sony E mount lenses, I no longer have any canon lenses laying around, and 50mm seemed to me to be a very versatile distance of throw for this in my small studio setup and having now received the unit, my suspicions were correct
- the subtle changes and upgrades from the first version of this unit are well received and necessary, and give me confidence buying into the system
- SO MANY gobos
- excellent customer service and advice
I would love to see a second and third lens released for this unit, maybe something 50% shorter and something 50% longer but make no mistake if there is to only be one, I'm convinced that 50mm is ideal. In the hand the entire unit feels well constructed and able to stand up to fast paced shooting environment knocking and jostling. As of this purchase, I believe my first from StrobePro, I will now be looking into switching out most of my light modifiers so that I can quickly move between Balcar and Bowens mounts.
Great purchase. No regrets whatsoever.

This is a solidly build stand, and it categorically wins my vote of confidence for being sturdy, dependable, and smooth rolling when its castors are attached.
I regularly use this stand during my event/headshot photography sessions. When fully extended, this stand easily manages my AD400 Pro bouncing into a seven-foot umbrella with perfect posture. I have no doubt that it could manage heavier loads with equal grace. For added stability, I love how the centre column can be quickly adjusted to touch the ground to add a fourth contact point.
I liked the first one I purchased so much, that I just bought a second and wrote this five-star review. The guys at Strobepro are wonderful, their prices and shipping promotions are very reasonable, and it feels good doing business with a fellow Canadian company. As my photography business grows, I plan to buy more from them, and you should too — the stuff they sell is well priced, well made, and well understood thanks to their value-added online instructional videos on how to properly use equipment like this. Jeff from Ottawa.
These stands are such a game changer. 100% necessary for making your portrait setups cleaner and easier to manipulate. The pistol grips support more than enough weight and make adjustments a breeze. Don't think about it, just pick them up. You'll be happy you did!
